Dr. Benjamin Shekhtman, MD is a dedicated and compassionate Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physician serving the communities of Forest Hills and New York City. Dr. Shekhtman attended the University of Toledo College of Medicine, where he received his medical degree. He completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, gaining extensive training in musculoskeletal and spine medicine.
During his training, Dr. Shekhtman developed expertise in ultrasound- and fluoroscopy-guided procedures, as well as advanced techniques such as PRP, prolotherapy, lumbar epidurals, facet joint injections, nerve blocks, peripheral nerve stimulation, and percutaneous tenotomy. He also has experience performing Botox injections for conditions including dystonia and migraine, providing patients with a wide range of therapeutic options for pain relief and improved function.
Dr. Shekhtman is committed to giving each patient individualized attention and developing personalized treatment plans that restore mobility, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life. He takes pride in offering the most advanced and effective treatments available, helping patients return to the activities they love with confidence.
