Dr. Weinberg has extensive training in the treatment of colon polyps, colon cancer, liver disease, celiac disease, inflammatory bowel disease, pancreatic disorders, motility disorders, gastrointestinal bleeding, and many other areas of gastroenterology.
Dr. Weinberg completed his pre-medical studies at Dartmouth College where he also majored in Fine Arts with a focus on oil painting. He earned his Medical Degree at Boston University and completed his Internship and Residency at UCLA San Fernando Valley. Dr. Weinberg performed his Gastroenterology fellowship training at UCLA. He has served as a Clinical Instructor at UCLA. Dr. Weinberg has been recognized with several awards, including the UCLA Solomon Scholars Award for Outstanding Achievement in Research, UCLA/San Fernando Valley Program for Outstanding Resident in Teaching Award, and the UCLA San Fernando Valley Program Scholarly Achievement Recognition Award.
