Bernadette Iguh is an attentive and engaged family physician caring for the community of Houston, TX. Dr. Iguh attended the Ross University School of Medicine in Roseau, Dominica, where she received her medical degree. Dr. Iguh continued her education in the United States by completing her residency in family medicine at Texas A&M University in Bryan, TX. Prior to her receiving her medical degree, Dr. Iguh practiced as a registered nurse.
Dr. Iguh is a part of Cibi Care Family Health Centers and is affiliated with West Houston Medical Center in Houston, TX. She is certified in Pediatric Advanced Life Support and in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support by the American Heart Association.
Dr. Iguh is an active contributor to medical research. She enjoys giving back to her community and has participated in many volunteer activities, including Habitat for Humanity and TAR WARs, a tobacco prevention education program. She also provided care for Hurricane Katrina evacuees in Brazos County.
Dr. Iguh is eager to help the wider community receive the care they deserve. She looks forward to developing a partnership with her patients to maintain and improve lifelong health.

By far the worst doctor appointment ever. I waited for over 2 hours to see the doctor and once I did I was told she doesn’t prescribe the medication I was there for to adults. Her staff was extremely rude and she was not friendly herself.

The office stinks and is dirty. They used an ear thermometer and used no sanitation piece to cover it. It was horrible and I walked out.

Every appointment I've ever had with her I had to wait AT LEAST an HOUR and 30 MINUTES to see her. She sets appointments at times she knows she not going to even be in the office! In fact, it's pointless to even make an appointment because they take first come first served anyway! I'm done with her!

I waited in the office for an hour before someone told me my insurance wasn't covered. Although I submitted my insurance and info on Sunday afternoon. Someone should have verified before I even made it into he office! What a waste of time.

I've been seeing her for 18 months. It's very easy to get appt. even the same day, tho you may have to wait about an hour. Her staff is friendly and helpful. Have always been impressed with the number of staff and their professionalism. Dr. Iguh is attentive and answers all my questions. I never feel rushed. Her patients vary from small kids to older adults.
I highly recommend her as a Family Physician!

Busy office. But Doctor has more than enough staff. Including another doctor in residency as well as a Doctors Assistant. Dr. Iguh listens and takes all the time you need. All my questions were addressed. The staff was attentive and helpful. Took vitals, asked for any refill request or papers I needed included in my medical file. Also asked if I wanted to get my flu shot while I waited to see. doctor.
I highly recommend her.

So I called ahead of time to check if they accepted Texas women's health I was told yes, I drove all the way to this clinic filled out the paperwork, I waited in the lobby for 20mins, they had children running around everywhere, they checked my weight and blood pressure, I sat another 10mins waiting for the doctor, she comes in the room & says they don't accept Texas women's health. Which I don't understand why they are labeled as accepting it under this website. I stated to her why wasn't I told that over the phone, So she said sorry it's nothing she can do. I am really angry about the unprofessionalism and we'll NEVER return there again!

I was satisfied with my visit and interactions. I was there to obtain my medication refills because I was unable to obtain an appointment anywhere that accepts my insurance. Fortunately, I keep great documentation and had all of my medical records & RX History. Although she said this is not something she handles in her scope of practice -- she did write my prescription for a months supply and provided me the name & number for the type of physician I need to see -- that accepts my insurance and has open availability. I was satisfied.
