Dr. Bernadette Onuoha is a practicing psychiatrist with over 30 years of experience in medical practice. She is Double-Board certified in Adult and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
She obtained her medical degree from the Obafemi Awolowo University (Nigeria) and her Adult and Child Psychiatry trainings from Meharry Medical College (Nashville, Tennessee) and Baylor College of Medicine (Houston, Texas). Her professional association memberships include the American Psychiatric Association (where she was appointed a fellow in 2014), the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, the Texas Society of Psychiatric Physicians, and the Texas Society of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
Dr. Onuoha has international medical experience and is currently based in Sugar Land, Texas, where she is committed to providing compassionate, reliable, and professional psychiatric services to families and individuals. She believes in treating her patients the way she would like to be treated and in employing a systematic and comprehensive approach to the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of her patients, recognizing her role as a physician first, and psychiatrist second.
