After visiting a few other doctors, I am so happy that I finally found Dr. Witten. He has not only been incredibly knowledgable in helping me understand all the options available to me in dealing with my specific situation, but has really taken the time to get to know me and my husband. Also, his staff has been extremely organized and kind. 5 Stars for Dr. Witten and his staff all around.

Dr. Witten is a board certified reproductive endocrinologist and is Director of the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology at Mercy Hospital St. Louis. For more than 20 years, he has helped families in the St. Louis area, throughout the United States, and around the world achieve their dream of having a child. Each year, Dr. Witten is chairman of the Matt Weis Symposium that educates and exposes faculty and resident staff to the latest advances in the field. He regularly lectures and is a popular presenter to the general public in the area of infertility. He has authored textbook chapters and published a number of papers in medical journals. Dr. Witten has been named as one of the best doctors in St. Louis by St. Louis Magazine for twelve years in a row (2005 through 2016).
He received his medical degree in South Africa from the University of Pretoria, with an internship in both Obstetrics and Gynecology and Internal Medicine at the University of Witwatersrand. He completed a residency program in Obstetrics and Gynecology at St. John’s Mercy Medical Center in St. Louis, Missouri, then attended the University of Miami Jackson Memorial Hospital for his fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.
