Indran B. Indrakrishnan, M.D., is a Clinical Professor of Medicine at the Emory University School of Medicine. He is a past president and currently on the Board of Directors of Georgia Gastroenterological and Endoscopic Society. He served and has been serving on numerous committees including the American College of Physicians, the American College of Gastroenterology and the Medical Association of Georgia. Dr. Indrakrishnan has won many distinguished awards from national and international scientific organizations. He has published several clinical and basic science research articles and currently in the editorial boards of peer reviewed scientific journals. He has chaired, organized and has been a speaker for many Continuing Medical Education seminars for physicians across the country.
Dr. Indrakrishnan has a special passion for the prevention of colorectal cancer and is on the Board of Directors of Fight Colorectal Cancer - a national nonprofit patient advocacy organization which supports colon cancer patients. He was invited along with the other board members by NASDAQ to ring the opening bell in March 2013 in New York to honor the organization. Georgia Governor Nathan Deal signed proclamations declaring month of March as Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month in Georgia in 2014, 2015 & 2016 at Dr. Indrakrishnan’s request.

Before seeing the doctor, I was made to watch a mandatory propaganda video about him and how great he is and how he rubs noses with Georgia's elite. His bedside manner was condescending, both towards me, and the professionals I visited before him.
His office staff apparently also does not accept ZocDoc. They "lost my appointment" even after confirming it the day before. I was forced to wait around in the small waiting room while this happened to three other people. The office staff was completely unprofessional.
I wouldn't recommend this doctor to anyone, let alone let him handle anything important.

Doctor was clear and concise about treatment options, expectation of suggestive testing and was able to schedule me for a procedure to troubleshoot the issue for the next scheduled day.

I waited over an hour and a half before I got taken back.
Dr was great and very knowledgeable but I felt very rushed. We were only in the room with him for about 10 minutes.

I waited 2 hours before I was seen by this doctor. Once I was, I felt super rushed and that he wasn’t listening to me. He kept insisting on a colonoscopy versus discussing changes to my diet. The front desk admin also does vitals for the patients.. Wouldn’t recommend.

**Highly Recommend**
Where do I start? I felt like something was stuck in the back of my throat, and I had seen 4 doctors prior to seeing Dr Krishnan who told me it was nothing. When I explained my symptoms to Dr Krishnan, he recommended I undergo an “Upper Endoscopy” procedure and then worked on the price for me as well because I was self pay. I was Anxious about being put to sleep for the procedure but Nurse Erika was very comforting. It was soo fast I didn’t even realize the procedure was over and it was like waking up from a nap. All that worrying for nothing! Anyways, Dr Krishnan found an Erosion In my esophagus possibly from a Chicken Bone or Hard food which was also being irritated by my Sever Acid Reflux! He prescribed me some medicine and set a follow up appt for a week from now. Nurse Erika even called me this morning to check on me and make sure I was feeling well. I feel soo much better knowing what is going on with me now, as oppose to being told “It’s just in your head, there’s nothing in your throat” from previous doctors. Thank you Dr Krishnan, Nurse Erika and the Staff for an EXCELLENT experience.
