He grew up in New Hyde Park and completed his undergraduate education at Stony Brook University in Economics. He subsequently completed his medical education at St. George’s University. He earned his internal medicine training at Rutgers University-NJMS and cardiology fellowship training at New York Methodist Hospital with a focus on noninvasive imaging. After completing his medical training he joined Brookhaven Heart with the hope to practice in the community he grew up in.

I was a little leary about my appointment due to some negative reviews about the office personnel, but I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was friendly, they were aware of my appointment in the system, and Ihad no issues. My wait time was less than 5 minutes and my visit with Dr. Patel was very informative and pleasant.
So far I have nothing bad to say about the office.

This was my first appointment meeting Dr. Patel. I was very impressed with my consultation visit. From the moment I entered the office the staff greeted me.
The waiting room is very welcoming with paintings on the walls. I was called within a reasonable waiting period. Dr. Patel was very patient and thorough in explaining everything and answering my questions. I have already made a second appointment.
I would definitely recommend him.

I walked and was greeted I then was asked to fill out the iPad in waiting room very easy task and no paper work which was nice and was called in within a few minutes fir my appointment when the assistant came in to the room ask me a few questions then hooked me up to the EKG machine right away then a minute or so later the doctor came in was very concerning about my health and his awareness and set up 2 heart tests within a week or two in other words my visit was a pleasant one
