I thought that he was knowledgable, however, I also felt like the accuracy of the treatment provided wasn't so great. I came to get treated for what I thought was eczema and actually was an infection from scabies. I'd been to his office 2-3 times before I stopped coming and I realized I wasn't getting any better. I don't think he took the best examination of my skin to declare that it was just eczema.
On the bright side, it was a good way to figure out my allergies.

Doctor asked me about my symptoms, some other general questions about my health, performed the allergy testing on my arms and sent me to the lab on the 2nd floor to do the blood work. He seems very knowledgable and caring. Good doctor, I would recommend him.

Saw him twice, he was very fixated on me being allergic to dust and cats even though i've never been around cats in my life and the areas i live have little to no dust. There was also the fact that the skin test gave little to no results for either of these possibilities. Told me if the Flonase is working then there's no further need to do any tests.

He was great, exceeding all my expectation.
He put me at ease; listened to me incredibly attentively; made me feel comfortable from the start.
He is extremely caring and was able to answer and give explanation to all my concerns.

Boris may be knowledgeable. Unsure due to the limited nature of our first appointment. However, his bedside manner is abrupt. I did not feel comfortable sharing my concerns and in fact felt like I was battling him intellectually for no reason at all.

I visited Dr.Balson and from now on he will be my doctor for problems that I have. It was very easy to set up an appointment with him. I did not have to wait for long before he invited me into his room. His knowledge and experience just positively shocked me. Dr. Balson is a medical practitioner of the highest caliber. I've never met a doctor who is as intelligent and dedicated to his craft. Dr. Balson and his staff were very kind and helpful. He truly listened to my concerns and did a skin test right away. At times he could be a little difficult to understand, but it wasn't anything outrageous. Overall, if you're looking for a good allergist I would recommend seeing Dr. Balson!

I barely had to wait and I really liked Dr. Balson. A lot of doctors try to rush through appointments and barely listen to the patient, but Dr. Balson really took his time to understand all of my symptoms, and his assistant was very sweet. I would happily recommend him.

I had a great experience; Dr. Balson took me right away and spend a good amount of time investigating my problem. His great sense of humor and calm, assuring manner made me feel at ease. His comments and explanations made me feel he knew exactly what needs to be done ; he made sure I understood everything and answered all my questions. While I was in the waiting room I found out he speaks several languages (not only English, but Spanish and Russian); I appreciate people who make effort to learn their patients’ native languages. I would recommend him to any of my friends and my family without any hesitation. Knowledgeable and experienced doctor who cares!

My visit with Boris was brief, since he took one look at me and told me I needed emergency surgery. His diagnosis was fast and accurate, and he even called me a few hours after the surgery to make sure I was doing OK. I would definitely recommend Boris.

My first visit was good. He did an environmental allergy test and explained to me how I can try to avoid some of these things. The second time I went for a chemical patch test which I ahd to wear for 2 days. I had the patches put on a Wednesday. It turns out Dr. Balson would not be in on Friday so he made some marking on my back with marker so that I can photograph it and bring it in the following week. It turns out my sweat erased the markers and he could not tell which patch was causing allergies. Instead of re doing the test he tried to guess and I am not very satisfied with this because basically I am still not sure what it is that is causing these allergies.

I visited Dr. Balson to remedy breathing difficulties stemming from my Asthma. I was received after a wait time of approximately five minutes. Dr. Balson ran an extensive amount of tests and provided through and detailed guidance about my condition and the suggested treatment plan. He made certain that I understood and was comfortable with my treatment plan. Most importantly, I felt as though I were a genuine person and not a mere number, something that I find increasingly rare at Doctor's offices. At all times, Dr. Balson was incredibly cordial, kind and amenable. From the first moments of our interaction, I could tell that he was experienced not only treating illness but in dealing with patients! He offered truly superlative care and I'm relieved to see him as a partner in my recovery.

Kind, thoughtful, was open to answering my questions and with asking if I had any other questions. Seemed intelligent, even-handed and honest as far as interpreting tests. I did not feel pressured or rushed as with other doctors. As far as the secretary helping out with the allergy tests, I think that this often happens in offices with minor procedures, and that there are other legitimate medical practices where assistants serve in both a medical and administrative role. I don't think that having the assistant do my skin prick test compromised on the quality of results.
