Dr. Kligman is excellent, knowledgeable, patient, listens to what you are saying and answers to every question you have. Today was my first time, but he is awesome. My son who is 22 years old became hie first patient in my family followed by my brother and now myself. My son is a medical student and both me and my brother are medical doctors. I very highly recommend Dr Kligman without any hesitation.

Dr. Brad Kligman joins SightMD as a fellowship-trained cornea and refractive surgery specialist. He was born and raised on Long Island and is excited to be returning home to practice in his community. Dr. Kligman earned his M.D. at NYU School of Medicine and it was while observing cataract surgery in his third year that he realized the restoration of sight through intricate and precise microsurgery was the career that he wanted to pursue.
Following medical school, Dr. Kligman completed a transitional year internship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in Manhattan. He then began his ophthalmology residency at the Edward S. Harkness Eye Institute of Columbia University Medical Center where he served as Chief Resident in his final year. During residency, he became interested in cornea surgery, due to the rapidly evolving technology and surgical techniques that would allow him to restore sight to the blind and visually impaired. This led him to pursue a fellowship in cornea, external disease and refractive surgery at the world-renowned Cole Eye Institute of Cleveland Clinic. There he learned to perform the most advanced cornea transplant techniques and gained extensive experience with the most cutting edge technology used in laser refractive surgery. He looks forward to bringing these skills and techniques back to his community on Long Island.
Throughout his training, Dr. Kligman has been very involved in research, publishing over 20 peer-reviewed articles, textbook chapters and abstracts. He was awarded Best Paper of Session at the 2016 annual meeting of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons and his work was featured in the Best of ASCRS 2016 Session.

It’s always a pleasure to visit Dr. Kligman’s office. Upon entering, the receptionists are very pleasant and lively (and they offer candy).

Love seeing doctor Kilgman. He’s a very good ophthalmologist, one of the best. He has helped with my chronic dry eyes and told me about my floppy eyes which helped me find other things as well. He really helped with my overall help happy to call him my doctor. Would 100 percent recommend.

When you see the doctor he is ok but the wait time is horrendous. Got here 15 minutes before the appt called in on time did the pre screen in one room then waited for 2 hours before being seen. Then another 30 minutes after drops were put in and have weared off. Very frustrated I have a job and this threw a wrench in my whole day.

Great doctor. It's very hard to find good doctors these says because there are so many, almost like trying to find a good lawyer or body shop. I'm a current student doctor in training so I am even more critical of doctors. Dr Kligman was very good. Super thorough. He checked my eyes once then double checked them again. Even took the time to take photos and email them to me. He was very personable and had great bed side manner. Only thing that sucked was the wait time ~ 30 minutes. Not his fault, more so the office. I would definitely recommend him to anyone though regardless of that.

I went into visit Dr. Kligman for a comprehensive eye exam and I was so happy I made the choice to get my eye exam. I came into the office and was greeted by a warm and friendly staff. I filled out some paperwork then was seated to see the Dr. I was given a prescription for glasses and couldnt be more happy!

Dr. Kligman took his time to explain my eye condition very thoroughly. I was expecting to wait in the office for ever like I do for most of my other doctors however I was called in by a medical assistant within minutes of checking in! I would recommend him to anyone looking for an opthamologist!
