What makes you passionate about being a healthcare provider?
I love the relationship between myself and the patient, watching them move through the stages of life as I help to coach them in being the best they can physically, spiritually, and emotionally. I enjoy the challenge of working through symptoms to come up with a diagnosis and working to treat the patient for the best optimal outcome.
In your opinion, what should be the role of a primary care provider for a patient, taking into account both physical health and behavioral health needs?
I believe, as a PCP, the primary role should be educating on health promotion and prevention of disease while working to manage chronic and acute conditions that will ultimately benefit the patient long term. Behavioral health is a key component to physical well being and should be assessed at every visit.
Tell us a little bit about yourself. What do you like to do in your spare time?
I enjoy doing arts and crafts with my 6yr old. I also enjoy being outdoors on our 30 acres and enjoying the peace of the quiet. We are expecting our second child in December and look forward to adding another miracle child to our family! We also love Food Network!

I wasn't listened to. I was talked over. They didn't ask me for anything going into it and then she got an attitude about me not having the right stuff sent to records (?) It was all just a waste of time and made me very upset that I wasn't listened to.
