Dr. Mines earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He completed his internship and residency at Aurora St Luke's Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in Sports Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.
With an impressive career spanning multiple professional sports teams, Dr. Mines has gained unmatched expertise in both family and sports medicine. His past experience includes serving as the Head Team Medical Physician for the NFL's Atlanta Falcons, where he specialized in concussion management. He has also held notable roles such as Head Team Physician for the WNBA's Atlanta Dream; Co-Head Team Physician for Overtime Elite (OTE); Associate Team Physician for the NBA's Atlanta Hawks; Medical Director for Clark Atlanta University's athletic department; Rotational Physician for US Soccer; and Medical Director for the Harlem Globetrotters.
Dr. Mines is also a frequent lecturer on the diagnosis and management of concussions and continues to play an active role in researching and educating others about sports-related injuries.
