Brett D. Brimhall, MD is a board certified, award winning physician and eye surgeon. His unique and extensive training and skills have enabled him to provide the highest quality in eye surgery and care, with the exception of glasses and contacts. In 1994 Dr. Brimhall graduated from Brigham Young University, majoring in Chinese and biology, and minoring in chemistry. In 1995 the U.S. Air Force provided full funding for his medical school training at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, where he graduated in the top of his class.
After finishing general medical training, he elected to practice general medical care as a flight surgeon for two years, while regularly flying in F-16 fighter jets. In 2002 he was accepted into one of the top eye surgery programs of the nation, Wilford Hall Medical Center. While in the program he excelled and was awarded several prestigious awards for his surgical abilities and research. In 2004 he was named chief resident, and graduated with the highest credentials in 2005.
Dr Brimhall has also received awards and high honors for his research. He has presented his laser-vision research before local, state-wide, national, and international panels. Through his research and expertise he offers the highest quality care possible.
Dr. Brimhall earned the high honor of personally receiving the nation’s first place award for the ACES Bloomberg Cataract Competition – a nation-wide surgery competition demonstrating his surgical dexterity, skill, and safety. Since being awarded that honor he has performed thousands of surgeries. He has been regularly asked to perform surgeries for many of the Air Force VIPs and generals, including a previous Surgeon General of the United States.

Dr. Brimhall and his staff are fantastic. I came in with an eye infection and he had it cleared up within 48 hours. His bedside manner is the best I have ever seen...he even walked me out after my office visit! He took time, listened to me and diagnosed the problem correctly the first time without hesitation. I will be recommending him to all my family and friends!

Dr. Brimhall and his staff are knowledgeable and courteous. He found that I wasn't a candidate for lasik at this time due to cataracts, and went out of his way to make arrangements for me with a doctor on my insurance plan. Honest and kind. I would highly recommend Dr. Brimhall even though he didn't perform surgery on me.
