Brian Chao is a Licensed Psychologist in California practicing since 2017, and initially licensed in Oregon in 2012. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology - Counseling from Biola University, his graduate degree from George Fox University Graduate Department of Clinical Psychology, and completed his postdoctoral training from Western Psychological & Counseling Services in Portland, OR.
Brian believes in a collaborative integrative approach to psychotherapy. He draws from cognitive-behavioral, acceptance and commitment, and psychodynamic approaches. Brian also has a special interest in ADHD, multicultural issues, psychological trauma and its effects on one's identity, relationships, and functioning.
In his spare time, Brian enjoys listening to music, playing video games, and spending time with family and friends.
