Brian Boucher was born in Darby, PA and raised in West Chester. Dr. Boucher graduated from Hopewell Central High School in 1987 where he excelled in both sports and academics. After high school Dr. Boucher attended Bucknell University, where he was a varsity baseball player and coordinator for Special Olympics. He graduated with a Bachelors degree in English. Continuing on to a pre-medical program at Trenton State College and the University of California at Berkely, Dr. Boucher then attended Jefferson Medical College, where he received his medical degree in 1997. During medical school, he was active in JeffHOPE, a program to deliver medical care to the underserved; and received honors in both OBGYN and Infectious Disease. He completed his residency at Abington Memorial Hospital. Dr. Boucher is Board Certified in Family Practice and has a special interest in sports medicine and dermatology. Prior to joining Gateway Medical Associates, Dr. Boucher practiced both as a solo physician and in a group practice. Dr. Boucher is married to Kari Williamson Boucher, MD, who is a dermatologist. In his spare time, Dr. Boucher enjoys golf, kayaking, coaching, acoustic guitar and is an avid sports enthusiast. He currently resides in Glen Mills, PA with his wife and two children.
