Dr. Brian Yomtov is a Chiropractic Kinesiologist in private practice in Stamford, Connecticut. Dr. Yomtov received his Doctorate in Chiropractic from National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, Illinois. He did his undergraduate studies in Exercise Science at the University of Rhode Island.
Dr. Yomtov is a Professional Applied Kinesiologist (PAK) certified through the International College of Applied Kinesiology. He is certified in Chiropractic Pediatrics through the Academy of Chiropractic Family Practice and Council, and Webster Technique certified through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. Dr. Yomtov has a fellowship (FIMA) and diplomate (Dipl. Ac.) from the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture. Prior to attending Chiropractic school Dr. Yomtov worked as a Personal Fitness Trainer and designed strength and conditioning programs for his clients. Dr. Yomtov's post graduate studies include extensive hours in acupuncture, clinical nutrition, sports medicine, energy medicine techniques and concussion management. Dr. Yomtov also holds certifications in Acupuncture and Meridian Therapy, and Neuro-Emotional Technique. In addition to his private practice, Dr. Yomtov has taught courses in anatomy, kinesiology, pathology, exercise and nutrition at the Connecticut Center of Massage Therapy in Westport.
Dr. Yomtov believes in blending the best of traditional and alternative medical perspectives into his practice. Dr. Yomtov’s primary diagnostic tool is Applied Kinesiology (AK). The science of AK draws from many different therapies, including Chiropractic, osteopathic and traditional medicine, acupuncture, clinical nutrition, psychology, and exercise rehabilitation.

Best chiropractor I’ve been to in years maybe ever. He really knew what to do and where to target. Fixed my problem first visit and doesn’t hard sell future visits. I had an excellent experience with Dr. Yomtav as well as his staff. Susan was at the front desk to greet me. She was friendly and engaging during my visit. She explained the forms that I needed to fill out and she took the time to get to know me.
Dr. Yomtav listened to my concerns, asked a lot of questions while fully explaining what his plan for the visit would entail. He also talked me through the visit explaining everything as it happened, I have never seen a chiropractor before this but I know that I will be going back to this practice. I felt a difference immediately. I look forward to my future visits to get me back to where I belong physically.

CareyAnn was wonderful, Dr. Yomtov was awesome! Unfortunately there was an emergency patient that came in right before my appointment, so I was there for about 2 hours after a work day (which was not awesome). Honestly, I would prefer to wait there versus seeing another doctor. I was treated the way I had hoped I'd be and I feel confident in my choice to see Dr. Yomtov! I already have my second appointment set! Looking forward to finally feeling better!

Yomtov takes a holistic approach for addressing issues, and he actually tries to figure out the root cause instead of just managing symptoms. He thoroughly and calmly explains what he is doing and why.
