Prior to my appointment I was contacted by the Front Desk Administrative Assistant Vivian who was extremely professional, polite and friendly. Meeting her when I walked in was just as I pictured! Extremely pleasant front desk demeanor and immediately without having even sat down in the waiting area was met by Donna who took my vitals and provided expert details of what to expect during my appointment. Donna was very professional and accurate in her delivery of the protocol that was to follow. Dr. Newkirk arrived with a warm, friendly and professional delivery. She listened intently and provided very clear recommendations and observations. I had lab work that was required and upon entering the lab was met with Morgan and another young lady who both were phlebotomy experts!
Very welcoming and their efficacy at drawing my blood was literally unfelt. An overall great experience and recommend the entire staff!

Dr Newkirk is an excellent doctor. She listens, ask questions., and really try to know the PERSON she’s treating. Very attentive to your needs. She certainly don’t play when it comes to her staff being rude to patients. Very knowledgeable, concerning , and likes to follow up to make sure things are going smoothly. Was able to talk to her like I was talking to my friends and she carefully listened and offered timely solutions. Love, love, love her!!!

Every staff member was friendly and helpful. The office is clean and I felt very safe (despite covid). I’ve been looking for a black woman doctor for some time and I’m pleased to say Dr. Newkirk was worth the wait!

There is a lot of room to socially distance in the office and Dr. Newkirk was really kind and I felt listened to me the entire time. Even when I didn’t get placed in the system from Zocdoc she made time to see me anyways!

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Newkirk! I was a new patient looking to establish care with a new PCP and I feel confident that I found one in Dr. Newkirk. Due to COVID-19, my annual visit was held via video, which worked out really well. There were no connection, visual, or audio issues. I received the link to connect with Dr. Newkirk less than 10 mins from my scheduled appointment time.
I felt Dr. Newkirk’s bedside manner was great- she was warm, reassuring, and responsive to everything I said/asked. As a black woman, I intentionally sought out a black female physician who I would feel comfortable talking with. I found it easy to talk with Dr. Newkirk and know that the things that are important to me both in terms of mental and physical health are also important to her. This counts for A LOT! I will definitely continue following up with her.

Dr.Newkirk is very nice I have never felt so seen and heard at a drs appt in my life. I am happy that she will be my new PCP ..my only critique that has nothing to do with her, was that the medical asst who called me rushed through my information over the phone, I could barely hear her and I felt as if this was such a routine and annoying pt of her job..both times she called me..but when I arrived everyone was nice and professional and I love forward to my health journey with them

The only thing that was disappointing at this appointment was the amount of time it took to have blood drawn for labs. It was 30 minutes until I was called back for the blood draw.

Excellent care! She took the time to learn my medical history in order to provide bespoke care. Guided me on a good path to maintain my health and dexterity. Also, provided caution for some of the medications I was taking. I would recommend her to friends.

From the moment I stepped into the office, I was treated with exceptional care. The staff were friendly and efficient.
Dr. Newkirk was great. She developed rapport and made me feel comfortable from the start. She asked questions and it seemed like she genuinely cared. She was very knowledgeable and helpful regarding my reason for the visit.
I plan on returning in 6 months for a follow-up and making Dr. Newkirk my PCP.

I was called before I even checked in. She was amazing and the best experience I've ever had with a doctor. Only issue is finding the office so just make sure to plan to go a little early in case you get lost. Dr. Newkirk is highly recommended!

Very nice visit with Dr. Newkirk! I really felt like she took the time to listen to everything I had to say and provided a solid diagnosis. I also appreciate that she prescribed more rest rather than unnecessary drugs. I don't get sick often but would definitely visit this office again if needed.

Dr Newkirk cares about me. She answers my questions no matter how inane and listens to my suggestions regarding my health issues. But she also seems truly interested in my family and my activities and hobbies. Speaking with her is like speaking with a friend.

This was a new patient appointment for me. Although I think Dr. Newkirk intentions were well meaning, I got the impression that she was trying to "sell" healthcare services (i.e., gastric bypass surgery) instead of supporting my desire to loose weight naturally with a plant-base diet. Personally, this provider will not be a good fit for me. To add, the front desk was a complete turn off. Not the most professional behavior displayed for people who work in a medical practice.
