I wear glasses and had been meaning to try contact lenses for some time when I noticed that I was overdue for an eye examination. I had moved to the area about a year prior and hadn't found a new OD in the area. I figured that it was finally time to find a new doctor and try contact lenses. One day, I drove by Envision and thought it looked like a nice office in a convenient location, so I did some more research online when I got home and scheduled an appointment with Dr. Capstick, OD. Dr. Capstick and her staff at the Envision office were really great. Everyone took the time to explain how each part of the office visit was to take place, whether it be the receptionist explaining how my insurance would work for the visit or the exam technician who explained the purpose of each test, what to expect with each test beforehand, and for what the doctor would be looking in the results. Painless and informative. After the initial exam, Dr. Capstick came in to review the exam results with me very thoroughly and double check the results. She answered all of my questions about the exam and addressing any concerns I had regarding trying contact lenses. I have had several eye exams before with other doctors, which always resulted in a Rx, but not much else. With Dr. Capstick taking the time to explain everything to me, I feel like I understand my personal vision health better than ever. I really appreciated that aspect of the visit. Once we were finished, an assistant came in and helped me with putting in the new contacts and worked with me so that I understood how to maintain my new daily regimen associated with contacts. All in all, it was a low stress situation and very informative. Despite having some initial anxiety about switching to contacts, I feel Dr. Capstick and her staff have set me up for success in this new world of contact lenses!

Concerned that the cotton ball with alcohol is used over and over. How is this sanitary, especially when it wipes items that touch your eye.
