Dr. Delasobera is an outstanding physician! She is thorough, kind and an excellent diagnostician. The new medstar facility where she is seeing patients is also first-class. From the front-desk receptionist, to the medical office assistant, to the MRI tech, I had a great experience. I give Dr. Delasobera and Medstar Latayette my highest recommendation.

Bronson Elizabeth "Liz" Delasobera, MD is a member of the MedStar Rehabilitation Network's medical team in both Washington, DC and McLean, VA. She is double boarded in Emergency Medicine and Primary Care Sports Medicine, in addition to being trained in musculoskeletal ultrasound.
Dr. Delasobera has been a key participant in the development of standardized protocols and guidelines for the MedStar Health Sports Medicine Concussion Program to ensure uniformity across the system. She is an attending physician in the MedStar Georgetown University Hospital Emergency Department and serves on Georgetown University's medical school faculty.
Dr. Delasobera is a native of McLean, Virginia and attended The Potomac School, where she was elected as captain of the tennis and basketball teams. She completed her undergraduate degree at Yale University, again in the role of captain of the tennis team, and received her medical degree from Stanford University in 2008. Dr. Delasobera then came back to the DC area where she completed her residency in emergency medicine at MedStar Washington Hospital Center and MedStar Georgetown University Hospital's combined program in 2011. She completed her Sports Medicine Fellowship in 2012 from Virginia Commonwealth University/Fairfax. She currently serves as the head primary care physician for the NHL's Washington Capitals and she is the team doctor for Marymount University athletics.
