With over 30 years of experience as a compassionate psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, I offer holistic care tailored to your needs. I hold a Master's degree in Adult Nurse Practitioner from the Medical University of South Carolina and am dual boarded in psychiatry and medicine. I provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and holistic approaches. I specialize in PTSD, depression, ADHD, anxiety, panic disorders, insomnia, bipolar disorder, and more. Your wellness is my top priority, ensuring you're heard and cared for every step of the way.
What should a new client know about working with you?
I am an Advanced Practice Registered nurse practitioner experienced in performing psychiatric evaluations, selecting the best psychiatric medications, supplements and treatments. I have treated thousands of clients with a variety of conditions including ADHD, bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety, PTSD and panic disorders. By listening to each client’s individual concerns, needs, and goals, I will select the best mental health medication along with non-medication recommendations such as therapy, lifestyle changes, and brief CBT.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
If you're feeling overwhelmed, know that you're not alone. Taking the first step can be difficult, but reaching out is an act of courage. I'm here to provide a safe space where you'll truly be heard and understood. Your journey towards healing starts with a simple conversation. I see clients virtually right now. We talk about your goals for treatment, past medical and psychiatric history with an initial treatment plan developed at the first appointment. I involve each client as an equal part in their treatment.
