Since 1994, Dr. Culbertson has served the OB/GYN needs of Phoenix from the private practice he founded. As a firm believer in treating every client with dignity and compassion, Dr. Culbertson takes pride in listening to patients’ needs while communicating in a comprehensive, but understandable way. He strongly encourages every patient to take an active role in her own healthcare decisions.
His mission is to provide exceptional, personalized care to women in a warm and comfortable environment. He achieves this by having a beautiful, spacious, and modern office convenient to all parts of the Valley. All exam rooms are uniquely decorated (take a look at our pictures!) in a warm and soothing manner. In addition, Dr. Culbertson employs no physician extenders, such as physician assistants, nurse-practitioners or midwives. Rather, all his patients are seen by the doctor. His friendly staff has been with him for many years. They work only with him, so you will get to know them well! All ultrasounds of your baby done in the office are performed by Dr. Culbertson, usually, every visit for the first half of the pregnancy.
He has a wealth of experience delivering well over 7,000 babies, many of them high-risk pregnancies involving twins, high blood pressure, pre-term labor and vaginal birth after a prior Cesarean delivery. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, has repeatedly been named a “Top Doc” in Phoenix, and has been called on to provide independent expert testimony in over 100 cases by the legal community. In his spare time, Dr. Culbertson enjoys being with his wife and three kids, traveling, skiing, golf and hockey.
