Bruce Sangeorzan, MD, FOAO, FAAOS, is a UW Medicine professor of orthopedics and sports medicine and the Director of the VA Center Of Excellence in Limb Loss Prevention and Prosthetic Engineering.
Dr. Sangeorzan earned his bachelor of science degree from the University of Michigan and his doctor of medicine degree from Wayne State University in Detroit where he also completed his residency before coming to the University of Washington for a fellowship in orthopedic traumatology and a second in foot and ankle reconstruction.
Dr. Sangeorzan's clinical interests include major deformities, disorders and injury of the foot and ankle. He and his team provide three functions to patients: To educate about the disorder, inform rehabilitation strategies and provide surgical treatment.
Dr. Sangeorzan enjoys spending time with family and friends.
