Bruce Theall, DPM, FACFAS is Board Certified Podiatric Surgeon seeing patients in his Orange, NJ office and operating out of Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, NJ, East Orange General Hospital and American Surgical Center in West Orange, NJ. After 30 years in private practice, Dr. Theall is as passionate about Podiatry today, as he was the day he started New York College of Podiatric Medicine. Upon completing his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree at New York College of Podiatric Medicine, Dr. Theall went on to complete his residency at St. Vincent's Hospital in Montclair, NJ.
An accomplished physician and podiatric surgeon, Dr. Theall takes great pride in staying involved in the local Podiatric community, having served on the NJ Podiatric Medical Society since 1982 – serving on the Board of Trustees from 1993-98 and as Chairman of the Eastern Division from 1996-97. Patient education is a core belief of Dr. Theall’s practice, so much so that he even authored the book “Put Your Feet First – A User’s Guide to Foot and Ankle Health”. In addition to his book and many publications, Dr. Theall takes time to create educational videos on a host of medical conditions and causes that effect foot and ankle health.
Dr. Theall takes special interest in Diabetic Preventive, Diagnostic, and Routine Foot Care and is a Medicare Diabetic Shoe Program Provider. In addition to these conditions, Dr. Theall takes a variety of Foot and Ankle Injuries - Lower Extremity Biomechanical Evaluations, Osteopathic Manipulation of the Foot and Ankle, Durable Medical Equipment Supplier (multiple clinical courses 2003, 2004, and 2005), Prescribing, fitting, and dispensing of custom shoes, orthotics, AFO's, and ankle braces), F-Scan, and Computerized Gait Analysis.
