Dr. Littman took the time out to ask and answer any questions I had. Most of the doctors that I see seems like they just want to get me in and out. The only thing that would have made my visit better would have been if the room was a bit more clean.
The doctor was amazing. I will recommend him to anyone. 'Made me very comfortable and was very knowledgeable

More about Dr. Burt Littman, MD, FACOG

As a board certified Reproductive Endocrinologist in Rockville, MD, I have been providing care to the Washington metropolitan community since 1987. As a solo practitioner, I have the ability to provide truly individualized care to my patients throughout the course of their treatment. My patients are able to contact me directly for questions and emergencies and I am available on weekends and holidays to perform necessary infertility procedures, such as monitoring of drug treatment, intrauterine insemination (IUI) and in vitro fertilization (IVF). My treatment philosophy is to follow a step-wise approach, with basic testing followed by a personalized treatment regimen that is tailored to your individual situation. I personally perform all infertility tests and procedures for my patients, including ultrasound, hysterosalpingogram (HSG), IUI, and egg retrieval and embryo transfer for IVF. Most blood samples are obtained in the office, without requiring an additional visit to a laboratory. I also perform surgery with the specific goal of preserving and enhancing fertility, including laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, removal of uterine fibroids (myomectomy), treatment of endometriosis and reversal of tubal ligation. The practice is full service and certified to perform semen analysis and process sperm for IUI, utilizing sperm from the male partner or a sperm donor. All ancillary IVF services are available, including intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) to facilitate the fertilization of the egg, blastocyst culture, assisted hatching, preimplantation genetic diagnosis/screening (PGD/PGS), embryo cryopreservation (freezing) and testicular/epididymal sperm extraction (TESE) for men with no sperm in their ejaculate.

Please save your energy and time going to Dr. Burt Littman. You will have boiling blood and enormous stress dealing with him. He is knowledgeable but when it comes to making important decisions, ha! He won’t help you , your on your own. Seeing a fertility specialist is a very big decision in a woman’s life, It’s not a easy decision and it’s obviously a very stressing period. I don’t think Dr. Littman gets that. He is very dry, does not smile, & does not have any sense of humor . He doesn’t understand that his general patient population is women and women who are eventually pumped with a lot of Estrogen! I don’t know how this man is a doctor. I give him a F.
Dr. Littman seems to know what he's doing as far as fertility goes, but don't expect him to hold your hand through it. If you have a lot of questions or anxiety, he's not a good doctor to have. My fiance and I were lucky enough to get pregnant on our own after an HSG test. During the first ultrasound (first time seeing the baby) he scoffed at printing me out pictures because there was "nothing to see." He also was sure to remind me after each visit how likely it was to have a miscarriage after each appointment. I get being careful, but I've worked with funeral directors that put me in better moods. Awful bedside manner. Doesn't care at all. But, if you are okay with bare bones care and little advice and feeling super awkward, he might be a good one.

I didn't wait long. However, this doctor did not listen to me at all. I was going in for some hormone testing and he didn't even listen to my symptoms and wouldn't do the test. He then told me I was overweight and that I probably have an obese gene. Overall would not recommend.
It took me a while to recover before I can write this review. About 5 months ago I found out I was expecting, very nice surprise. I went to Dr. Littman and he run all the necessary test. The result were not very hopeful since my levels were low. So Dr. Littman told me to go see him every 2 days for testing and I did. During the second week of testing I started bleeding and feeling very strong pain. I called Dr. Littman and explained that the pain felt like contractions but only on the right side and it was strong. He told me to go to the office. I went to his office by this time the pain was very strong, for moments was very difficult to even walk. He saw me with this strong pain, told me to go to the back office and took some blood for testing, then he told me: "well, now you have to go to the hospital because there is nothing I can give do for you in reference to the pain"... I was in such a pain and I could not believe what he was saying. All alone he knew that he could not help me, why keep me there and take blood? ... Run test and then send me to the hospital?... of course he only care about getting money from the insurance, even with my increased pain, his main concern was making sure I pay the co-pay before leaving for the hospital. He did not care that I was in such a pain in addition to the distress caused by the whole situation of loosing a baby. I do not recommend this doctor at all. He is obviously more concern about money that his patients. If I could rate him zero I would but unfortunately there is not such an option here. I should have known he was not a good doctor since it seems to always have many available appointments. Please ladies, think twice before using Dr. Littman as your doctor.

I had a good appointment. Dr Littman listened to my concerns, we discussed our options, and moved forward with a plan. He was very concerned and caring. He's soft spoken and reserved, but I liked that.

I did not realize that the office receptionist doubled as a Doctor's assistant during my internal examination. Without any prior notice, she came into the exam. room to witness the exam. I was not told anything as to whether she was a nurse, medical assistant, or even what her name was. She just appeared and stayed throughout the entire thing. I felt uneasy in such a private, vulnerable situation. I should have been told before the exam and been given the opportunity to accept or refuse her presence in the exam. room. If I had the chance to do it over again, I would not have agreed to it.

Doctor is very caring, welcoming and comforting. He listened to me and made me feel comfortable because usually I like female doctors better but I would highly recommend him to any of you that are looking for this kind of doctor.

I really like Dr. Littman. He's reserved, soft spoken and isn't big on small talk, which felt a bit awkward at first, but once I got to know him I was very comfortable with him. He's very gentle, incredibly easy to talk to and very accommodating with appointments. His practice is intimate - just him and his receptionist, which I loved. He was very up front with costs and respectful of what I could afford treatment wise. I appreciate when doctors aren't pushy, but unfortunately I felt he wasn't aggressive enough with treatment or advice & I felt time was of the essence so I had to move on to a different practice. However, I'd still recommend him to anyone just beginning their infertility journey or looking for a caring gynecologist.

Dr. Littman is kind and very thorough. I felt very comfortable except that my paper gown is not following the fashion trends.

When a doctor just take a piece of paper to write something that you are saying and just paying attention, I don't like it at all, I expected more.
Their office is small and there's only two of them in there. Dr. Littman is very soft spoken, but I was satisfied with my visit.
The physician was very straight and was all about business, which was greatly appreciated. He provided me with all ofvthebinfornation I was looking for and thoroughly answered all of my questions. The office clerk was amazing and extremely helpful.

Told me at the last minute I had a copay. Didn't schedule for what I needed to be scheduled for. Wasn't seen due to not being able to pay the copay.

changed insurance companies so needed to find new OB/GYN. found Dr. Litman via ZocDoc and just made appointment. Visit went well he was very soft-spoken, gentle, thorough and I felt comfortable during visit. hopefully I've found my new, permanent Ob/Gyn :)

It was really weird. He didn't ask me if it was ok and had what seemed to be like his receptionist sit in. I've never had an exam where someone sat in like that. Overall it was a really uncomfortable visit.
Doctor was so good and made me so comfortable. He listened to all my problems patiently. He looks very calm. Definitely going back! Only thing I'm concerned about the clinic is the receptionist. She was rude. She was acting like a boss for the clinic. Beside this, everything was good.
I just moved to this area and have to sign up for a new OBGYN. Dr. Littman was overall very polite. But I felt very uncomfortable that he insisted for some tests that I was not willing to do. He did not even allow me to call my insurance to verify my benefit. It was like you take this test or else kind of attitude. Also, I felt he was very rough during the exam. I have never experienced this abdominal pain after my OBGYN visits before. He also did not explain or warn me for the forthcoming procedure during the exam like most other doctors do. Overall, I was not very happy about the visit, and am considering to find a different doctor for the my future visit.
Dr. Littman took a lot of time with me. I didn't feel rushed. He was very knowledgeable and thorough and he answered all of my questions. I would highly recommend him.
Great
Dr. Littman was great! He made me feel very comfortable, answered all my questions, and was very knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend him to my family and friends.
My visit w/ Dr. Littman over the years has been excellent & his knowledgeable skills are beyond words of expertise. I would NOT want to replace him for no other OB/GYN Dr.
