Dr. Andrew Swanson graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic West in 1986. He worked as an associate with Sound Chiropractic Centers in both Redmond and Tacoma Washington until 1991. In 1992 he opened Kingston Chiropractic Clinic, later named Gaitlink Chiropractic Center, in Kingston Washington located in Kitsap County. Twenty-six years later he moved Gaitlink Chiropractic Center to nearby Port Gamble.
Dr. Swanson is founder of the Gaitlink Method, a new model for the chiropractic profession. After completing the Gaitlink protocol, injuries often resolve themselves limiting the need for ongoing chiropractic treatment.
Dr. Swanson has extensive experience treating sports related injuries. He has used the Gaitlink Method in the following sports programs:
