Cara is an amazing dietitian and helped me immensely! She helps, not only with the food aspects of eating disorder recovery, but also with the underlying factors that play a role in sustaining eating disorder behaviors. Cara worked hard to help me reframe some of the most challenging, and once seemingly impossible negative automatic thoughts triggering the ED behaviors ("I'm not good enough," etc.). Cara took the time to even write out a bunch of reframes for me to look at upon my discharge from a higher level of care. I truly feel that I would not have been able to discharge or re-experience my recovery without Cara's endless support and persistence with me. Upon entering treatment, I had a lot of shame about relapsing and we discussed how I felt I would stay in quasi-recovery forever due to the trauma I endured. She believed in me even when I didn't believe in myself. Her balance of meeting me where I was at and pushing me was what truly made the difference. 10/10, highly recommend!

Cara deeply cares for her patients I can’t recommend her enough!! She is extremely kind and takes her time to listen to her patients concerns. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a compassionate and attentive dietitian

Cara was an amazing dietitian. She cared deeply for me and all of her clients and never made me feel like I was doing a bad job in recovery. Even when I was struggling she allowed me to express my genuine thoughts behind my motivation and helped me understand why I was struggling. But the one thing that really stuck out to me about Cara is that she always met me where I was at. Of course she tried to push me to challenge myself but she never made me feel guilty for "not being where I should be". I would recommend Cara to any person who is looking for guidance with nutrition, she genuinely changed my recovery for the better.

Cara is amazing! She is super easy to talk to and super knowledgeable. As someone who had a pretty logical and persuasive ED voice, she did a great job helping me combat the thoughts, set realistic goals and give me the skills needed to reach those goals. She also is super funny! She makes the conversations fun and light hearted and I truly felt no shame when talking to her. I would definitely recommend her no matter what your dietary needs are!
