Dr. Adler is the man. He knows what he is saying and stays to the point. He does not unnecessarily suggests tests or prescribes medicines.
The doctor was thorough. Asked a lot of questions, courteous, and attentive. His personal hygiene could be a bit better-long nails, dirty clothes, shabby appearance

We know Dr. Adler for some many years; he is very professional and very informative. Great satisfaction to see him.
I did not feel comfortable with the cleanliness or hygiene of the doctor and his office. Everything was scattered.
Every time we are come to Dr. Adler, we feel that we come home very satisfied. Dr. Adler allways very informative.
He is a great doctor he helps me and every time I see him I get better. This visit is better than the one before.
He was very thorough and explained why he was asking questions and running tests. I'll definitely go back
Dr. Adler was fantastic, he’s so caring and efficient. Dr. Steve also was very helpful.

Office was very messy
Dr is fine. Sometimes he's short with you, sometimes he's really nice. Does a thorough job. Super fast, you don't wait long to see him. Unfortunately when you are waiting in lobby you can see him being mean to his staff. Also, I kept asking if I owed anything every time I visited and each time the staff said no. Six whole months later they sent me a bill with a very rude handwritten note saying I was overdue, and they sent more even after I paid it. Which by the way was double the cost of what was on the mailed bill with the rude note. Very unprofessional. Why send rude notes talking about not paying when I KEPT ASKING to pay every time I showed up? For this I decided never to come back, not because of doctor but because of incompetent staff.

Came for a routine physical and he wanted to take a blood sample. Did not use gloves and he seems to be relatively unsanitary himself which doesn’t really inspire confidence

Very knowledgable and thorough
It was a very unpleasant experience. I came in to get a routine check up and prep for tonsil surgery. Although I'm sure the doctor has good intentions his bedside manner is really uncomfortable (he kept hacking luggies that seemed like he needed to spit, and telling me how older patients who don't stay overnight after surgery "bleed to death"). the office is old and unclean looking, and wasn't able to find my vein when taking blood work "saying uh oh" while digging the needle around in my arm. The cherry on top was needing an EKG, after having the assistant try to get the nodes to stay on my body for 20 mins and having them constantly coming off or dislodged, the doctor came in and proceeded to try to hold them down, digging his fingers deeply into my chest and arms while they tried to run the test. After all of this they couldn't get their machine to work, and referred me to a place that has then referred me to another place. All of this to stay I will likely have to go to an entire new facility and start this process over again and am on a time limit to get this information to my surgeon. I wouldn't recommend anyone come to this place.

Doctor seemed relatively disinterested and not very friendly or helpful in discussing my condition. He also appeared a bit unkempt, which personally is off-putting for a physician
Verified patient
He was professional and nice, however had no idea how to deal with the issue that I had come in to see him about. While advertising as someone specializing in STD and HIV, when I went in to discuss medication for pre exposure preventative medication it went less than satisfactory and I'll be looking for a new doctor who knows what they're talking about.

The best doctor in nyc. Period.

Dr. Adler was very professional and also really listened to what I had to say. I did not feel rushed at all. He wasn't incredibly friendly, but nonetheless I was not at all put off. He made me feel comfortable and confident that I was going to get better.

Dr Adler has been my primary care for about 3 years now. He is a GREAT doctor. He figured out that I have celiac disease and autoimmune thyroiditis. He is patient and kind with everyone. He is extremely knowledgable and is open when I requested certain tests. If it weren't for Doctor Adler, I would not have the quality of life that I currently have. I am still healing from various autoimmune issues and he has been a huge help with my health.
Verified patient
This is the most thorough doctor I've had the pleasure of dealing with. He was thorough and very detail orientated taking care of not only my specific concern but giving a well rounded and professionally thought out response.
Verified patient
receptionist was great and friendly. Doctor explained everything clearly. Only issue was the way he was talking to his receptionist if there are ever any issues they should be adressed in private and not in front of patients. Aside from this I recommend him.
Easy to get an appointment if you're in a hurry. He's a peculiar guy, old school and a little strange, but he will get the job done.
Professional, to the point.
Disappointed that admin staff could not be bothered to inform me that the office had moved to a different location this after calling several times to confirm my insurance information - UPDATE YOUR INFORMATION ONLINE
Dr. Adler was very knowledgeable about my condition and was interested in explaining the science and methodology behind it. I'm actually excited to go back again and review my blood work.

wouldn't go back, turned off by that he's merely a DO not a MD. appearance of office / doc also a bit of a turn off so to speak. no urine test in annual physical which i thought was odd, also no idea as to what he'll be testing in my bloodwork.
Sense of humor, intelligent, down to earth and very knowledgeable on alternative medicine as well as prescribed. Dr. Adler LISTENS and engages well with the patient.
Verified patient
Honest and to the point, would see him again but I'm not sure about the long wait in the evening (had a 6:45 pm and was not see until 7:35). Dr. Adler was kind and did take his time to address my concerns though.
Dr. Adler provided a thorough examination, addressing and explaining the myriad of concerns I had at my appointment. I highly recommend this DO. Very intelligent doctor. The staff is very friendly and humorous. It's an office where I feel at ease. The furniture selection in the waiting area is a bit bizarre, but the care provided is second to none.
