My visit to Dr. Girardi was overall great. The one thing to be aware of is that I pre-filled all of my personal + insurance info through ZocDoc ahead of time, but was told when I arrived that I had to fill out everything again. But this wasn't all that bad because they have an electronic check-in system for new patients that makes it way easier. In general though, I'd recommend you arrive about 20 mins. early if you are a new patient.
Dr. Girardi was great. He asked me what my symptoms were and allowed me to speak fully without interrupting me. He seemed to know exactly what to recommend to diagnose my problem and really covered all the bases. Check-out was easy and I left feeling a lot more at peace than I felt going in.

Dr. Carl Gerardi is originally from the New York area and comes from a family of physicians. His medical training began in High School where he spent several hundred hours volunteering on an ambulance and at a local hospital. His undergraduate training was at Fordham University at Rose Hill and medical school at SUNY Health Science center at Brooklyn.
After completing medical school he was accepted to New York University Medical Center Urology program. His training included general surgical and urologic training at NYU, Bellevue and the Manhattan Veteran Hospital. He also spent time in specialized cancer training at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. He then became board certified by the American Board of Urology.
Dr. Gerardi began practicing Urology in New York City and Westchester County where he was then involved in teaching residents at both locations. He became Associate Clinical Professor at New York University. He continued to develop his practice over multiple office sites in the New York area and has 5 urologists included in his division.
The pursuit of the highest quality of patient care combined with the level of personal commitment by IMP physicians attracted Dr. Gerardi and his division to become members. The group now provides comprehensive state of the art care predominantly in the Westchester community as well as NYC.

This office does not take your problems seriously. Their inaction forced me to switch doctors in order to get my prescription, even though I asked multiple times to fill the necessary paperwork. They simply don’t seem to care.

I've seen Dr Gerardi several times. Beside the fact that even first thing in the morning he seems to always be running 45 minutes late, I just don't feel like he takes me or my problems terribly seriously. I'm switching doctors

Everything could have been done in one day, but instead I was sent outpatient for an ultrasound. That means more visits and more Co pays a BIG

Dr. Girardi was very knowledgeable and explained everything extremely well. I walked in knowing next to nothing and left knowing so much more and made the picture clearer than ever. There was a small wait but it is well worth it to see Dr. Girardi. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a professional urologist

Dr. Gerardi was ok but too brief. I guess he had a million other things going on at the time of my appointment hence the wait time. I scheduled for 11 am. I arrived at 10:40 am and wasn't seen by him till about 12:15 pm which was just absurd. The staff needs to be more organized with the scheduling of appointment.
