My husband needed to find a new Primary care Dr. And after having several other failed attempts with other Doctors who just seemed to not care or address any of my husband's concerns , we finally found a true and dedicated honest Dr. In Carl Knopke. He was amazing with my husband and truly is in his profession because he wants to help people feel better and have a better life. He is absolutely a God Send and I can't stop telling everyone how great he and his wonderful staff are. I wish we would have found him sooner. he is the definition of what a perfect Primary care Dr. Should be.

Dr. Knopke is Board Certified in Family Medicine and Obesity Medicine. He helps people lose weight and is an expert in weight related conditions such as Diabetes, Hypertension, and Arthritis. Dr. Knopke is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians as well as the Obesity Medicine Association. The OMA is known nationally and internationally as a society of physicians that educates doctors in the diagnoses and treatment of patients with weight related problems. Dr. Knopke can often take people off of their chronic medications they have been taking for their weight related problems through his program.
Dr. Knopke received his undergraduate degree at UCLA in Biochemistry. He earned his MD at The University of Texas in San Antonio. He completed his residency at Riverside County Regional Medical Center where he served as Chief Resident and was given the Resident Teacher Award on behalf of the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine. Dr. Knopke has served as a clinical instructor at The UCR medical school and he regularly hosts medical students in his office. He has been a past chair of the Family Medicine Section at Riverside Community Hospital. Dr. Knopke regularly attends biannual OMA meetings and has been a local speaker to educate other physicians on how to help patients lose weight. He also serves on the Continuing Medical Education Committee for OMA to help select conference speakers and topics in Obesity Medicine.

Dr. Knopke is absolutely wonderful! I’ve been a patient in his clinic for a couple or of months, his staff (especially Aurora) truly and honestly care about your wellbeing. I am usually seen by his equally amazing PA Maddie, this was my first time meeting Dr. K. He was so incredible, he took the time and LISTENED to my concerns, although the office was very busy, I not once felt rushed. He presented me with a few choices and options on how to deal with my health concerns and throughly explained and discussed each option. I highly recommend him and his office for ALL your healthcare needs.

It's very hard to find a doctor that will whole heartedly listen to you let alone actually see you and not have a nurse practitioner sit down with you for your very first visit. I was very please with the way that the staff as well as a doctor treated me I felt as though my concerns were listened to you and the doctor really did care about my overall well-being. Although it was my first time at the doctors office I was seem very quickly which was a very nice surprise. Many doctor's offices over book their patients and have you wait an extremely long time just to be rushed through your visit this was not the case here. I'm excited about the things that the doctor and I discussed and I know that he is going to put me on a better health and wellness plan for my lifestyle.
