Dr. Carl Nicholson has been dedicated to providing his patients with the best quality care since 1998-where he specializes in pediatric and geriatric care. He also has an extensive knowledge of fitting specialty contact lenses. Dr. Nicholson has been co-managing the LASIK procedure for over 10 years and takes great pride in working with only the most experienced surgeons who use state of the art technology!
Dr. Carl Nicholson earned his undergraduate degree at UC Riverside and his Doctorate at Pacific University. He is an active member of the American Optometric Association and the California Optometric Association. Dr. Nicholson was a recipient of the Health Professions Scholarship from the U.S. Army and served three years as a Captain in the U.S. Army stationed in Frankfurt, Germany. To further his interest in visual studies, he has conducted research experiments in visual memory with Cal-Tech graduate students.

The online appointment system let me down. The Dr.s office did not have my appointment in their system when I arrived 5 minutes early w/paperwork (new patient) in hand. I spent the next 15 - 20 minutes trying to sort that out. Huge disappointment!

i might be a bit biased since i've been with dr. nicholson since i was 18 (i'm turning 30 this june). my mom and brother are also his patients. maybe it's because i've been going to him for so long that i'm pretty comfortable with him.

Wait time was a bit long but it was because of staff shortage. I actually thought they did a great job of organizing the patients given their situation. Staff remained friendly and professional even though they were super busy

Dr. Nicholson and his staff were wonderful! The staff behind the front desk took care of me right away. Dr. Nicholson was not only professional and courteous with my regular eye exam, but also took the time to get to know me so he could recommend the best contact lenses and glasses to fit my lifestyle. I work outdoors with horses, so having a contact lens that can stand up to that environment is important. Dr. Nicholson and his staff made sure I had everything I needed before I left the office.
