Dr. Carla J. Stelling received a B.S. in Psychobiology from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and an M.D. from Albany Medical College in New York. Dr. Stelling completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency training at Harbor UCLA Medical Center, a level 1 Trauma center serving the underserved. During her training Dr. Stelling managed extremely high-risk obstetrical patients and advanced gynecologic diseases. She also performed research on cervical cancer screening of adolescents. Prior to her medical training Dr. Stelling worked with the UCSF AIDS Health Project where she provided client-centered counseling, performed research on sexually transmitted infection, and was a major contributor to the program publications. Stelling also researched the use of Acupuncture in treating pediatric chronic pain. Dr. Stelling’s interests include Adolescent gynecology, sexual health, and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery for treatment of fibroids, pelvic organ prolapse, and endometriosis. Dr. Stelling speaks Medical Spanish.
