Dr Stelling was extremely kind and I felt like she actually listened to me and addressed my concerns (which I've had a hard time with previous doctors, especially gynos). She was very nice, and explained how to go forward with my case without making me feel pressured to do anything I didn't want to. Waiting time for my appointment (and the follow up I didn't schedule through zoc doc) were both very short, I think 30 minutes at most (and I usually show up 15 mins early). Overall I love this doctors office, and plan on using Dr Stelling for as long as possible.

Dr. Carla J. Stelling received a B.S. in Psychobiology from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and an M.D. from Albany Medical College in New York. Dr. Stelling completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency training at Harbor UCLA Medical Center, a level 1 Trauma center serving the underserved. During her training Dr. Stelling managed extremely high-risk obstetrical patients and advanced gynecologic diseases. She also performed research on cervical cancer screening of adolescents.
Prior to her medical training Dr. Stelling worked with the UCSF AIDS Health Project where she provided client-centered counseling, performed research on sexually transmitted infection, and was a major contributor to the program publications. Stelling also researched the use of Acupuncture in treating pediatric chronic pain.
Dr. Stelling’s interests include Adolescent gynecology, sexual health, and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery for treatment of fibroids, pelvic organ prolapse, and endometriosis.

Dr. Stelling is good - seems very knwoledgable. Unfortunately office staff is not friendly. It seems every time I would like to get test results that I have to call and ask, not an easy process!, rather than them being set to me when received.

Definitely not going back here. Despite an empty office, I was kept waiting for quite awhile. Moreover, when I finally did get to speak to the doctor, I had a lot of questions about getting an IUD. She acted annoyed by having to answer them, and tried to rush me through. She didn't act sensitive to my concerns. She told me that somebody from her office would contact me shortly about IUD insurance coverage, but instead they just sent me a bunch of forms to fill out. I followed up by e-mail and called -- no response. This is no way to treat your patients, or to guide them through important decisions!

I really like the doctor, but the wait time is awful. I arrived about 10 min early to my appointment as instructed, and my total wait time until the doctor could see me was over 45 minutes. There is a parking garage which ended up costing $10. Street parking is available but limited.

I like Dr. Stelling a lot, she has been very helpful. However, I had to wait an hour and a half today and saw her for less than three minutes. Because of the parking situation in the building, I had to pay to wait for her, and this appointment cost me more than it needed to.
I understand doctors fall behind, but for a quick follow up consultation I shouldn't have had to pay $12 to park or wait an hour and a half. I would rather have done without the follow up, save my time and money and just send an email for my prescription to be refilled.

Dr. Stelling was good. She has a clear, focused, friendly manner. The annual pap & check up wasn't painful at all, and she did a good job stating/letting me know what was coming next in the process.
The one thing that I wish were possible: I needed to get an ultrasound test done, but the next available appointment to discuss results was three weeks later. I got the test done two days later--and wish I didn't have to wait three more weeks to understand the results. It seems like a long time.

My visit was the best I had ever had at a Gyno- it doesn't hurt that I live about 7 minutes away, either! I had brought a book just in case of a wait, and I saw in the office that I would have a 35 minute wait. Maybe it was because I was around/after lunchtime but I was ushered right into the doctor's office! No waiting! Carla was fantastic, and I felt very comfortable telling her anything. I look forward to my next annual!

Dr. Stelling was absolutely wonderful. I have been looking for a good OB/GYN in the Bay Area and found a GREAT one in her. She was incredibly compassionate and kind and really took the time to patiently answer all of my questions. I would recommend Dr. Stelling in a heartbeat.

She was so nice and I immediately felt comfortable, which says a lot! Going to the OBGYN can be uncomfortable and especially to a new Doctor, but she was great and put me at ease and I'd definitely make her my main OBGYN.

I was not happy with how long my wait time was--over 30 minutes in the waiting room after my appt time, and then 40 more minutes sitting in the exam room before my doctor even walked through the door. I've booked another appointment, so we'll see if that was an anomaly, or if I'll be seen in a reasonable amount of time.

Good first appointment with this office. They provided the forms ahead of time online for me to fill out so there were no forms or extra waiting upon arrival. Insurance information was also taken and verified ahead of time by phone.
On the day of my appointment, I was as seen pretty quickly after just a few minutes of waiting. Nurse and Doctor were each friendly and good about fielding any questions I had.

Dr. Stelling was awesome. I had a list of questions which she answered thoroughly and with no judgement. The only down side to the appointment was the assistant. I didn't appreciate her reaction to my not having a check up in a really long time. The questions the assistant asked were also asked by reception during a pre-visit phone call, and could have easily been filled out on the forms and kept between me and the Dr., or only asked by the Dr. since she asked the same questions anyway. I felt uncomfortable telling everyone who worked there what I wanted to discuss with the Dr.

I found Dr. Stelling to be professional but not very warm and she she seemed like she was reading from a script the entire time I was speaking to her. I felt like just another patient to rush through before she went to see another. I also waited 45 minutes to see the Dr. She apologized and told me she was "giving some bad news to another patient" which if its true is too bad but she was basically telling me this other patient's time was more valuable than mine.

I was about to leave after the horrible wait time but she changed my mind when she walked in and was super patient and understanding with me. She answered all the questions I had - I will definitely go back but I will make sure I allot at least 2 hours.

I was waiting for over an hour without any pants on in a room, and I fell asleep. I was about to leave, but the nurses insisted I stay for 5 minutes more. I was scheduled to have an IUD placed and was really nervous about it - I think if I hadn't stayed, I would have probably put the appointment on the back burner. The procedure itself went really smoothly and a lot better than I thought it would. Dr Stelling had come from a baby delivery and was still calm and had a kind attitude towards me even though I was probably visibly irritated by having to wait over an hour with no pants. I'm glad I waited.
