Even though my ZocDoc appointment wasn't confirmed on the app I went to the office anyway as I needed to be seen and the staff accommodated me asap. Even though the appointment wasn't on their side they assisted me. The nurse practitioner was wonderful and very nice to get all the information correctly to the doctor. They were prompt and I felt heard throughout the entire appointment.

Dr. Carlos J. Piniella is a Diplomat of the American Board of Adult and Pediatric Asthma, Allergy and Immunology. Dr Piniella received his Medical Degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and went on to complete his Internship and Residency in the specialty of Internal Medicine from the Cabrini Medical Center-New York Medical College. In addition Dr. Piniella completed a Fellowship in the specialty of Adult and Pediatric Asthma, Allergy and Immunology at Saint Luke’s Roosevelt-Columbia Presbyterian in New York City. Dr. Piniella is a Fellow American College of Asthma, Allergy and Immunology and a member of the American Academy of Asthma, Allergy and Immunology.

Office was unaware of my 830am zocdoc appointment. Dr was not even in the office until I was seen at 945.
Forms completed online were not used. Their forms were old and duplicative.
Doctor said he will be updating the zocdoc availability accordingly and was very apologetic.
Otherwise doctor and staff were very friendly.
Front desk could do with a tidy up.

Like many doctors, he went straight to prescribing meds (different types of anti-histamines, and he recommended I take two a day). Unfortunately, I had very bad reactions to all of them even though he said they were safe. I even ended up in the hospital after taking one of the recommended meds. He does, however, listen well during the visit, and his staff is nice.

The office staff was very professional, especially the Nurse Practitioner and the Nurse administering exams and checking vitals. The NP and doctor were very thorough and listened to all of my concerns. Dr. Piniella exhibited much expertise and recommended what I believe to be the best course of action to rule out causes to my symptoms. I was overall impressed and am very happy with his course of actions, as I believe they will further drive me to discover the unknown causes to my symptoms.

Dr Piniella saw me the next day. That alone impressed me. My testing starts next week and I can't wait for the results. His approach is much less invasive than another allergist who did blood draw of which all test were negative.

Dr. Piniella and his staff were professional, courteous and very efficient. Check in was fast since I completed some forms on ZocDoc in advance but some add'l information was needed. The Doctor did a thorough evaluation of getting my history and listened to everything I told him about my past experience w/allergy testing and evaluation. I feel confident his treatment plan is going to help decrease my allergy symptoms. So looking forward to getting some relief from an Allergist with experience.
