Dr. Clinkscales is the best. He did surgery on my wrist years ago and the outcome has been terrific and long lasting. Had some questions about a recent injury and he took the time to answer all of my questions in addition to doing a through exam.

Dr. Clinkscales is a fellowship-trained, orthopaedic hand and upper extremity surgeon who joined Hand Surgery Associates in 1998. After completing a degree in Religion at Davidson College in 1985, he moved on to his medical education at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Clinkscales was accepted at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN for residency in orthopedics. He then completed his fellowship at the Indiana Hand Center. His prestigious CV includes time spent as the President of the Rocky Mountain Hand Surgery Society, Board member of the Denver Medical Society, and Assistant Professor to the Department of Orthopaedics at CU Denver. Consistently ranked by 5280 Magazine as one of Denver's top doctors in 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2016, Dr. Clinkscales continues his education and contributes to medical education through presentations and publications involving cutting-edge techniques in hand and upper extremity care. Since 2009 he has traveled on medical missions to Peru, Nepal and Rwanda, and many more.
