Switched to Inpatient Psychiatry becoming director of inpatient services as Assistant Professor of Psychiatry with Mount Sinai Affiliation following one year of Service at JHMC, returned to QHC 9/02-1/03, served as Acting Director of the Department of Psychiatry at QHC following the move to the new hospital building, I became the Comprehensive Psychiatric ER director which provided for mobile crisis service and acute 72 hour holding beds. Became Deputy Director.
Residency Education: Transferred to Elmhurst Hospital Center, April 2005 until January 20, 2015
Duties consisted of clinical and didactic teaching and supervision, received best teacher and best mentor on a number of occasions as decided by the residents. In cooperation with the residents, published a number of Journal articles in peer reviewed journals.
Developmental Disorders: Decided to treat OPWDD patients and worked at Metro Community Health Centers for 4.5 Years
Private Hospital: Worked most recently at Four Winds Hospital for 7months. Treated patients with psychotherapy and psychopharmacology. With my experience, I feel that my knowledge of psychopharmacology will allow a good continuity of care.
