About Dr. Carson Wong
Dr. Carson Wong received his Doctorate in Optometry and Master's in Vision Sciences from the State University of New York College of Optometry. During his clinical training, he was active in research in the area of visual perception under a grant from the National Eye Institute. He also holds a degree in electrical engineering from the University of California at Berkeley.
Dr. Wong is passionate about providing early intervention treatments to slow down nearsightedness in children. He is an active member of the American Academy of Orthokeratology and Myopia Control. His areas of practice also include treatment of emergency and medical eye conditions, specialty contact lens fittings, and treatment of medical eye conditions including diabetes and glaucoma.
A graduate of Teaneck High School, Dr. Wong has returned home to care for his beloved community. He is fluent in Cantonese, and is proficient in Mandarin.

The most thorough eye exam in this area. Dr. Wong check my eye very carefully and did additional test to address the pain i experienced.

My family and I love this office and will probably never leave. Dr. Wong is so knowledgeable in his craft and is so thorough with his exams. The front desk ladies are the sweetest people I’ve ever met. They are so good with my girls and they make us all feel so comfortable and confident in our choice of health professionals. They are prompt with service and communication. Although they don’t accept my insurance fully, I will willingly continue to come here! No amount of money is too much for the excellent service my entire family receives at Sylvan Family Eyecare. Keep up the fantastic work!
