Went for an injury to get an X-ray. The first person I met was Dan and he had a hilarious dry sense of humor. Dr. Casey was very knowledgeable and I loved that he gave me options pertaining to my recovery. I am new to the area and will go back again if needed.

Dr Locarnini was a great doctor and the staff at the clinic were very helpful, but it was a very long wait time. I had an appointment at 1pm, and when I called to confirm I asked if there was a long wait and should come in later. I was told to come in at 1.30. I waited for 2 hours before I saw the doctor. If I had known I would have taken the afternoon off work!

Dunwoody Urgent Care has been Board-Certified Emergency Physician owned and operated since it was founded by Casey Locarnini, MD in 2005. We are a true family medical practice combined with urgent care, and we have treated many of your families, friends and neighbors in the Dunwoody area and beyond. We also believe strongly in the importance of community involvement and are long-time sponsors/supporters of local schools and community events.
Dr. Locarnini was born and raised in Sonoma, a very small town in the heart of the California wine country. His father was a general practitioner in Sonoma, who had a very down-home style. And, he was very beloved by his patients. Dr. Locarnini was taught by example, that spending time with a patient, being attentive, and really listening are essential elements of being a great physician. His father was a big influence on his decision to pursue medicine as a career.
Dr. Locarnini attended Tulane University School of Medicine, where he received a fantastic education, at Charity Hospital in New Orleans. He was awarded a 3-year Navy scholarship, which paid for tuition and books. He was one of the few students who worked part time to earn money for living expenses.
After receiving his M.D. degree from Tulane, Dr. Locarnini entered active duty for the Navy. In 1991, he undertook a rotating internship at Naval Medical Center, San Diego, and then went on to Naval Flight Surgeon Training. Following graduation, he was assigned to Naval Air Station, Washington, D.C. and spent 3 years keeping some of the most senior officers in the Navy and Marine Corps healthy and fit for flying.

The receptionist is friendly and helpful....the doctor was professional and easy to talk to. Overall, I was pleased with my visit. Will definitely go back when I have any problems in the future.
