I work with both adults and children who are struggling with a variety of issues. In addition to general mental health, I have two main specialty areas: 1. eating and nutrition issues and 2. child & adolescent psychology. Eating and nutrition issues I treat, include eating disorders, weight management, emotional eating, body image issues, and compulsive exercise. I work with both adults and teens with these concerns. Therapy isn’t just for those who have a diagnosable eating disorder. If it is causing a problem for you, you may need some support.
I also have advanced, post-doctoral training in treating anxiety disorders. Many of my clients struggle with anxiety, either as the main issue or a secondary issue. I have advanced training in the use of CBT and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for anxiety disorders (Generalized Anxiety, OCD, Panic, Phobias, trauma, etc).
My approach to therapy is to work on immediately assessing and addressing your goals. For kids and adolescents, family involvement is a key component. We can start with prioritizing symptom reduction, figure out what is keeping you stuck, work on problem-solving, or wherever you need to start.

Dr. Devlin has several years of clinical experience treating both adult and pediatric clients in outpatient, inpatient, and school settings. She received her Psy.D. from Roosevelt University, where her dissertation was focused on parenting and adolescent risk-taking. Dr. Devlin received her B.S. from SUNY Brockport, where she majored in Psychology and Health Science with a concentration in Alcoholism and Substance-Abuse Treatment. She is an adjunct faculty member at Roosevelt University.
