Catherine Nguyen, MD chose a career in medicine because it allowed her the unique opportunity to build meaningful and therapeutic relationships with her patients. As an active volunteer in both high school and college, she found a passion for serving her community and sought opportunities to make a positive impact in the lives of others. Eventually, she decided to become a Family Medicine physician in order to fulfill her goal of caring for the health and well-being of patients of all ages. Dr. Nguyen finds the greatest satisfaction in forming strong, interpersonal relationships with her patients and is humbled to have the chance to be a part of their health journey. She enjoys helping her patients make well-informed medical decisions and is always there to provide support. In her free time, Dr. Nguyen enjoys discovering new cuisine and exploring local restaurants, doing arts and crafts, working on home interior design projects, visiting farmers markets and botanical gardens, and traveling to different cities abroad. Her favorite moments, however, are spent with her husband and young son, who continually remind her of the important things in life, whether big or small.

I would not go back to see Dr Nguyen. I waited over 30 minutes to be seen even though I had a 9am appointment and was early for the appt; she already seemed to be behind. She listened to my issue (knee pain) and then did not order any imaging at all of the knee or prescribe any meds. Suggested PT. What if there is a tear in the knee? To me, I would like to make sure, this is why I am at the Dr. When I wanted to go over another medical issue she said she was short on time and she is only allowed to spend 20 minutes on each patient. What? Wow, this sounds like a corporate response to me and all about making money so they can bill again and I will also have to pay another CoPay!!! She told me to come back next week to discuss my other issue. I have never had a Dr say they could not spend another 5 minutes listening. Just awful. Office staff was clueless when I left. I told them "well I have to pay" and they seemed too busy to deal with me and said I can pay online.

I highly recommend Catherine Nguyen. Her bedside manners were excellent and she walked me through the procedure with patience and understanding. She didn't rush me even though my examination took a long time. She answered all my questions with empathy and kindness.

the nurse that helped me before seeing the doctor made feel comfortable talking about my anxiety and depression she showed a lot of compassion and even told me before leaving that if I needed something to come and get her or if I wanted her to stay with me. I'm glad I went to see this doctor she give me the right medication and I'm starting to see a difference in myself. would high recommend her.

Both the provider and nurse made me feel comfortable and at ease before and while doing my procedure. They also allowed my boyfriend to be present which also made me feel a lot better. The provider and nurse made great conversation and tried to take my mind off things, along with putting some music of my taste while doing the procedure. The provider also answered all my questions and concerns and went above and beyond when answering my questions. My experience was amazing and I hope to receive the same treatment in the future.

Dr. Nguyen was very kind and patient during the whole visit. I was doing a pap smear exam, which is very uncomfortable for me and with which I have had really bad experiences in the past (not with Dr. Nguyen or at any Memorial Care location). Dr. Nguyen showed a lot of sensitivity and understanding regarding this issue and even got me water and helped calm me down after the procedure. She really helps patients feel at ease and is very non-judgemental. This is also true for the Medical Assistant that saw me before Dr. Nguyen, although I cannot remember her name. She was also very kind and listened to my concerns attentively. Great experience overall.
