I brought my mother to see Dr. Prodromos and she can be challenging. He was patient and very kind to her. We are looking forward to our next visit.
Based on my wife's previous experiences, there was no doubt about getting his help.
Excellant but he was over-booked
This doctor had me diagnosed and my treatment plan befor he ever saw me. His only treat option was PRR or Stem Cell, which of course are not covered by insurance. When I asked about other options he told me there were no other options. All he wanted was to have me sign up for his very expensive treatment, of course with no real assurance it would even work! I will never go back, and I would advise anyone that wants a good orthopedic doctor to not see this one. He is all about the cash, not the patient.
This doctor Dr. Prodromos, is the worst doctor I have ever dealt with. The office is so unprofessional, papers all over the desk, dirty bloody tissues in X Ray room. He charged me the fee for the office visit only to make me wait 45 min wait till you see the office and the unprofessionalism in the office the mess on the desk, you will understand what I am saying.Or wait till you try to call, you will hear the unprofessional way they answer the call, put you on hold and argue with you. I and my insurance spent thousands of dollars just to hear the unprofessional doc and staff. Save your money and time, worst doctor I have ever ever seen, please be advised, if I would have read the reviews prior I would have my money in my pocket. He should be reviewed by the Medical Board, please stay away from him. save your time and money.
This was my first appointment with Dr. Prodromos and he was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. The staff was friendly and were awesome in communicating with me my appointment and needs.
Was very happy with everyone in the office. Dr Prodromos was very Professional and friendly. Explained everything so I could understand about the PRP injection along with a video about how other people have done with the PRP. Would refer others to see Dr Prodromos and in fact have already told someone to see him.
Dr. Prodromos runs such a great office, everyone was so friendly and helpful.
Strongly recommend to anyone to avert or postpone knee surgery. So much easier to get an injection as needed. The best in Chicago area.
Had to watch a sales video, and pay for scientificly unproven treatment that did nothing for my pain. Please move this dr to the herbal healing crunchy granola department.
he errs on the side of cauion and his wife is fantastic doctor
Dr. Prodromos was not attentive and acted like a salesman of a treatment that his clinic offers. He was reluctant to talk about alternatives. I'm not able to trust a person like that with my health and based on my experience I would not recommend him.
Dr Prodromos is extremely knowledgeable and I can tel he has genuine interest in his field. I didn't get the news I was hoping for but feel very confident in his analysis and left feeling well attended to.
Glad to hear it was nothing serious. He recommended therapy.
Picked the doctor from zocdoc. Great experience.
Very very impressed my total experience. Will highly recommend him !
He is a very busy man;but he took time to answer any question we had,He also explained in detail the procedure that was going to be done.He has a very pleasing personality.
I was scheduled for an exam with PRP to follow at a later date. They worked me in to a busy schedule so I didn't have to wait ( or schedule a return visit). I appreciated his and his teams efforts to accommodate me. I don't know yet about the effectiveness of the treatment but it worked before!
I thought it was great. I only had to wait an extended amount of time because I had to call my primary care physician for a referral.
Very knowledgeable Dr., state of the art.
I had a phenomenal appointment with Dr. Podromos. Besides being very nice and spending lots of time with me, he is on the cutting edge of orthopedic research. I highly recommend Dr. Podromos!
Great doctor, very interested/knowledgeable. Super friendly and easy to talk to. Would highly recommend! A+
He was great .explained in detail and took time .Not an In and Out Dr.
The visit was a good experience. Dr. Prodromos as well as the staff involved were very kind and professional .
Highly knowledgable, great experience & phenomenal care.
Chadwick Prodromos was the worst, most disrespectful and aggressive person I have come in contact with in a long time, let alone a doctor. He constantly interrupted me as I answered his questions in regards to the injury, he left the room 3 times due to phone calls and was incredibly aggressive in his manner. He was apparently confused by the MRI results I had previously and was looking for a specific answer from me. He was basically reprimanding me for saying anything other than what he wanted to hear. He came very close to me and forcefully said that patients need to explain to doctors what happened so that they could help them, and that patients need to listen. Once I apparently said the answer he was looking for he then told me to explain how the injury happened because he could see he had upset me. He was incessantly insulting other orthopedic doctors in the area for beliefs other than his, talking up his own research, and he was not listening to the questions I asked. His words seemed scripted and couldn't care less about me, or his other patients. For a new patient describing a new injury, he did not listen and almost brought me to tears with how rude he was to me. I went elsewhere for another opinion and was actually offered advice and help to improve my functionality. Dr. Prodromos offered no solutions, nor help. I do not recommend him for his diagnoses nor manner. It was a horrible experience.
Dr Podromos took the time to provide me with all the necessary information to make an informed decision.
Dr. Prodromos was awesome. He has a great personality, talked to be in detail about the major issue I came in for and other ancillary stuff I brought up. He is a no nonsense kind of guy and gave me great tips for how to get better and the types of workouts I can do in the future to avoid other injuries. I highly recommend him.
He was professional and eager to be thorough before making a diagnosis.
Dr. Podromos is a nice man and seems to be knowledgeable in his field, but I've never waited over an hour for a consultation/exam with any other doctor. Every time I've seen him, the wait time has been over an hour, he has maybe a 5-8 minute conversation with you, and that's it. At my last appointment, I was in the process of leaving out of frustration when Dr. P entered the room.
Dr was cooperative and informative. Most up-to-date and helpful for what was best for me.
Honest doctor, gives unbiased opinion and looking for the best interest of the patient.
the doctor was very nice and so was the staffs
Dr. Prodromos is a true professional. He actually discouraged me from choosing surgery for my elbow problem, and rather advised me to try a simple and inexpensive way to solve my problem. I was doubtful, but to my surprise, In a short period of time it proved to be quite effective, and the problem no longer exists. I thank Dr. Prodromos for saving me a bundle of money and surgical misery.
Office staff was friendly and very helpful. Doctor spent time to explain and was not rushed.
It was an eagerly anticipated visit which fulfilled all my expectations.
I had read ratings on this doctor and his staff prior to my appt. I arrived almost an hour before my appt and filled out paperwork. Had an x-ray taken soon after that. Staff there were professional and courteous. I was then put in an exam room actually just a few minutes after my scheduled appt time and was impressed - at that point - with the speed and efficiency with which the staff operated. Forty-three minutes later (yes, 43 minutes later) the doctor came into the room and spent less than 4 minutes with me saying I most likely had cartilage damage and that I'd have to have an MRI and come back for a follow up (didn't get a, "Sorry you've been sitting here for almost 45 minutes."). I know Dr. Podromos is an excellent surgeon which I am choosing to focus on rather than his less than average people skills.
Dr. Prodromos was great - attentive, down to earth, and very thorough. However, the wait time was horrible!!! I guess it's standard procedure for all new patients to have x-rays done before seeing the doctor, which in my case took over 2 hrs! They only had 1 x-ray technician working that day and were having huge problems with their computer program...it was a complete mess.
Great physician. Very smart, took his time and offered great recommendations. Truly recommend him.
Dr Prodromos was very professional and gave me great advice on what to do to limit pain and avoid surgery.
Dr. Prodromos saw me right away, on short notice, to help with my hip pain. He quickly ascertained muscular back issues were causing the hip pain and recommended PT. After only one PT session, I already feel a little improvement. No surgery, no drugs - just PT and improvement. Txs much, Dr. P. You are the best.
I only spent about 1 minute with the doctor... he didn't seem worried about my concerns at all and almost laughed at the fact that I came in to get it checked out. It was very convenient for me, however - I was able to make an appointment for the next day and it was one of the quickest appointments I've ever had - I did not have to wait long at all.
Dr. Prodromos is a decent doctor, but the office environment is terrible. The receptionists were extremely overwhelmed and weren't attentive to patients checking in. The waiting area is also very awkward because you can see the entire physical therapy area where they treat some patients. Dr. Prodromos also does not have a closed in office for himself so I always saw him recording his notes while we were all in the waiting area. It just seems really awkward seeing the doctor go in and out with patients while you are waiting to be taken to a room. Otherwise, my visit got the job done but I'd prefer visiting a more pleasant, welcoming office.
Nothing was explained to me.The x-rays, which needed to be taken before the appointment at a location I had to choose and find by myself (the front office staff was unable or unwilling to make a recommendation) were not explained nor discussed with me. The doctor left in the middle of my "examination". Not really an examination, because he appeared to have made his diagnosis before he saw me. I have had back pain ever since I was young, but when I tried to explain my pain and discuss my medical history as well as my concerns it was dismissed. When I tried to ask further questions about my symptoms the doctor sighed out loud. He seemed distracted and annoyed. The front office staff was unfriendly and unwilling to communicate with patients. I have never been so infuriated and frustrated after a doctor's appointment and wasted a solid 2 hours of my life (most of which I waited for the doctor). Never going back here again!
My visit with the good Doctor was absolutely great. I am so impressed with the way he took care of my medical problem. So precise and quick. He also has a marvelous assistant who is extremely friendly and kind. I am very lucky that I have found this Doctor.
Excellent care was provided. He is extremely knowledgeable and friendly.
I thought he was a little gruff and my daughter walked away feeling bad about herself. I think he could have been more tactful in his dealing with her.
We covered a lot of territory as I came in with two injured areas. We have a plan of action for both, and a recheck scheduled in a week. He spent a lot of time analyzing the problems and explaining his recommendations to me.
they are professionals and kind they concern about the patients
He was awesome
Extremely knowledgable & experienced. Aware of & mentions several alternatives for treatment.
Dr. Prodromos was very professional & knowledgeable about my specific situation & gave me the best options. Although it was my first visit it was very comforting to be seen by him. Thank you & I hope to continue to get the awesome service received on my future appointments.
He was professional, personable, no-nonsense, and did not have me doing any unneeded tests. I was very happy with the whole experience including the people in the office.
