Dr. Chavda completed his postdoctoral training in Pediatric Newborn Medicine from Children's Hospital Boston at Harvard Medical School. Prior to moving to Mansfield-Arlington area, Dr Chavda practiced in Boston, with hospital affliations at the world renowned Children's Hospital Boston, Brigham and Women's Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital.
He gained extensive clinical expertise in treating various conditions in Pediatric Newborn Medicine, developmental Pediatrics and well child and preterm child follow up clinic.
At Harvard Medical School he was part of important research about understanding developmental differences in blood forming stem cell between preterm and term newborns. In addition, he has authored many medical journal articles and written book chapters, as well as participating in research in pediatric newborn medicine.
Dr Chavda is board-certified both in Pediatrics and in Newborn Medicine. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Dr Chavda's interests include in Child Development, Preventive care, Parent education and Immunizations.
For Dr. Chavda, the greatest joy is growing up with the kids and their families. He hopes to influence them to make positive decisions in improving their growth, development and well-being. Bringing personal care and attention to your family is the way Dr. Chavda thrives. He considers parental concerns in his care plans, and being a father of two kids, he asks himself what he would do if their children were his own.
