Dr. Chanda Reese is a Board Certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist who prides herself in delivering personable and compassionate care. Dr. Reese is invested in the health of her patients and feels it is truly a privilege to care for women of all ages.
Dr. Reese completed her undergraduate work at the University of Maryland-College Park where she graduated with honors and majored in Physiology and Neuroscience. Dr. Reese has received numerous honors and awards for academic excellence and commitment to the field of medicine. She has been an active participant in numerous community health initiatives and works as an advocate for women's health. She earned her medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine, Baltimore, MD. Upon completion of her post-graduate residency training, at the SUNY-Stony Brook University Hospital, Long Island, NY, she returned to Florida to be closer to family.
In caring for the expectant mother, Dr. Reese encourages parents to be active participants in their obstetrical care. Dr Reese has a low Cesarean delivery rate and promotes vaginal deliveries for optimal transition for both mother and baby while minimizing discomfort. When medically necessary she performs Cesarean deliveries. She is also one of few obstetricians in South Florida who encourage patients that are reasonable candidates to consider VBAC’s (vaginal birth after prior cesarean delivery).
Dr. Reese is known for being thorough but very gentle in her examination and evaluation of her patients. Many young women and teenagers seek her care for their first gynecological visit. Her special interests are minimally invasive approaches and surgery for treatment of pelvic pain, abnormal uterine bleeding, and uterine fibroids.
Dr. Reese is a Certified Robotic Surgeon and skilled laparoscopist. She is also a member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, and has successfully completed complex surgical cases, including myomectomies, while enabling her patients to return to work or school in a short time frame with minimal discomfort.
Dr. Reese also performs Vaginal hysterectomies, thus avoiding any visible incisions, as well as, endometrial ablations, hysteroscopies and treatment of ovarian cysts.

She was wonderful!!!! I normally don't like going to the GYN, not for any particular reason, but I have to say, this was the most pleasant visit EVER! She was very comforting and reassuring on my diagnosis. She has a looking term patient as long as she practices!!!!!

My only problem was the wait time. Originally I scheduled a 10 am appt online, however I received a call from the office staff asking me to come at 9:30. I arrived prior to 9:30, then I did not get called in until 10:30.

I really liked Chanda however I was a little disappointed during my visit. I had to wait 45 minutes before being called and even then I had to ask about how much longer it would be. Once I got into my room the nurse asked me a list of questions that I had already filled out online. I just didn't understand why I filled out the form when she doesn't even look at it. Of course I had to wait another 30 minutes before my doctor. I assume it was just a bad day and I will be coming back to the office for my next visit.

She was very friendly and competent. She is the kind of professional that makes me feel as if I am in good hands and can feel comfortable talking to. She explains things in easy to understand terms and is thorough, recognizing a sense of urgency to minimize delays in necessary followups. I appreciate that very much. I am very, very glad I found her through my insurance company's website. My only negative was it was unclear what to do when first entering the office suite, and I had written down the wrong suite number and called but no one answered to help so I had to roam around searching at the last minute. Wait time could also be improved, but, again, the doctor was fabulous!

I love Dr. Reese. She is one of the best doctors in my opinion. She's very professional and you can tell that she generally cares about her patients. She performed a successful surgery of a (myomectomy removal of fibroids) couldn't be more happier. I'm blessed to have found her. The service there is Wonderful. I felt very comfortable with Dr. Reese and I was very nervous. She put me at ease and made the visit very pleasant. I would highly recommend Dr. Reese. The only problem was I had completed my paperwork online, however they could not find it. I had to spend time doing that again.

I was greeted by Michelle, who I think she said she was with billing. Very very sweet upbeat and, welcomed me with coffee.
Now for the front desk person I dont recall her name.. She never said who she was. She was not friendly, never said good morning, never smiled and, made faces regarding things I asked or she did. I filled out a new patient form on line and, when I arrived she said she did not have it and seemed annoyed. I had to fill out another form.. Also when I was leaving Dr. Reese ask me to ask her if STD test where covered with my insurance. She made another face and said yeah.
She never came over to me. I just left my file and left.. The front desk and, or person is the first person you see and is a reflection on your practice.. Thank you so much Dr.Resse I think you were a sweetheart..

First off I would like to say that the office is extremely beautigul, it makes you wanna run out and get pregnant. The ladies who worked there were very friendly and professional I was assisted by Claudia who was an absolute pleasure. Dr Reese is by far a total sweetheart, her picture does her no justice in person she looks way younger I could not believe she was the doctor. I highly recommend her personally if anyone is seeking a gynecologist.
