Hello and welcome to my profile! At this time I do not accept insurance but hope to in the near future.
I am a board-certified dietitian and self-proclaimed foodie.
I love everything related to cuisine: culture, tradition, making creative recipes, and exploring nutritional science.
I first became passionate about the social component of dining with friends and family as a teenager.
After completing a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology, I realized I wanted to stay close to food and started studying nutrition.
I completed the Masters of Nutrition Coordinated Program at Georgia State University.
I also completed clinical and community rotations at Grady Hospital, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, Fulton County Schools, and Cobb County Senior Services.
I’ve worked as a clinical dietitian in a community hospital for over three years where I provide a variety of services from nutrition education to nutrition support. I love sitting down with people and discussing their nutrition goals.
I love learning about people and helping them translate nutrition science into realistic and attainable wellness goals.
As a dietitian, I use evidence-based guidelines from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and the Dietary Guidelines for Americans to provide medical nutrition therapy.
I have experience in diabetes, heart disease, chronic kidney disease, cancer, wound care, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, gastrointestinal disease, and weight management.
