Hello, my name is Charlene, and I'm a compassionate and integrative dual-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). I earned my degrees from Johns Hopkins University and MGH Institute of Health Professions, where I developed a strong foundation in evidence-based care including therapy and medication management. My dual training and certification allows me to take a truly integrative approach to care, addressing both physical and emotional well-being to create a more holistic treatment experience. I am deeply dedicated to supporting clients through life's challenges with a holistic and personalized approach.
My practice blends holistic techniques like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), coaching, meditation, mindfulness, nutritional guidance, nutraceuticals, and judicious medication management. I also incorporate elements of Caribbean, Ayurvedic, and Western medicine to create a comprehensive and culturally informed path to healing.
I specialize in helping adults and children navigate anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, and relational concerns. Together, we'll create a personalized plan to support your healing, build resilience, and align your life with your values and goals.
