Before coming in for a visit with Dr. Glass, I didn't know what to expect. Since he's new to the practice. Upon meeting with Dr. Glass, he promptly greeted me with a big smile on his face, I knew then, my visit would be wonderful. Dr. Glass was very thorough with the examination, I was never one felt uncomfortable.

Dr. Glass was extremely thorough. He answered all my questions and I never felt rushed. His bedside manner couldn't be better. He made me feel very comfortable with his friendly and caring manner. I will difinetely see him again. The office staff was wonderful.

Dr. Charles Glass received his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania, where he majored in Biological Basis of Behavior and minored in Hispanic Studies. As an undergraduate, he performed cutting edge Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s disease research, which culminated in several abstracts and publications in leading scientific journals. He also worked for several months at the University of Cordoba in Argentina and became fluent in Spanish. After graduating from college, he spent two years working in the Brain Behavior Laboratory at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Glass received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in 2011. As a medical student, Charles did oncology research focusing on glioblastoma multiforme and optic nerve gliomas. While at Jefferson, he was awarded the Foerderer Research Grant as well as the Helen Erskine Memorial Scholarship. He also received Honors distinction in all of his clinical rotations. Dr. Glass completed his ophthalmology residency at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, following a transitional internship year at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. During his first year at Brown, Dr. Glass was awarded the Most Valuable Consultant Award by the emergency medicine department, an award given to the top resident across all specialties. He also served as chief resident during his final year and was an ambassador for ophthalmology interests on a national level at the mid-year forum in Washington, D.C.
