Dr Goldberg was awesome, I had a very different experience than the others that have reviewed him apparently. Once the nurse and I were done he was in immediately after. He was courteous, effecient, pleasant, and seemed to care.

I first went to see Dr. Goldberg for a chronic cough, which he diagnosed right away as bronchitis. He prescribed antibiotics which cleared it up right away and that impressed me. But when I came in for knee pain, he didn't seem to take my pain seriously and sent me away with exercises for my back?! I felt like my very real pain was not important to him, just getting me out of his office as quickly as possible. This was two years ago, and I am still suffering from the knee pain. I am only 27 years old. Maybe if he had actually taken the time to try to get me better, I wouldn't be in pain now.

Dr. Goldberg is truly one of the most gifted human beings I know. He "sees the big picture" in his patients, and treats them with a sincere kindness, respect, and dignity. He genuinely loves what he does, and it shows. He is one of the kindest, most sincere people I know, and has a true desire to help his patients. Unlike many doctors, there is no ego or "God complex" with Dr. Goldberg. He meets you right where you are and values you as a person, and often offers encouragement and positive words. He is truly the best.

I've been seeing Dr. "G" for over 20 years. Great guy and very good doctor. He is always pleasant and knowledgeable and easy to work with. However, his office wants payment asap and will not hesitate to send you to collections if you're late. Must be new ownership 'cause Dr. G is not like that.

I was totally pleased with Dr. Goldberg! I just moved to Sellwood from San Jose CA (Silicon Valley) where I had excellent medical care and I feel I will have the same or better care here. I liked his personality, medical advice, and everything. I am so glad to find a good family doctor in Portland.

I always arrive with a list of questions, concerns, symptoms, etc. and I appreciate that Dr. Goldberg encourages me to go through my list during my appointment so that all my concerns get addressed.
