Dr. Charles Lemon, MS, DC, DACBN, DCBCN is a board certified doctor who specializes in clinical nutrition. Dr. Lemon holds a Master of Science degree in Clinical Human Nutrition from the University of Bridgeport, on of the nation’s top nutritional programs. He holds a Diplomat status and is board certified by the American Board of Clinical Nutrition. This certification board qualifies physicians from many disciplines (MD, DC, DO, PhD, ND) and assures that the members are of the highest caliber, maintain currents educational requirements and have advanced clinical skills. Dr. Lemon was the first doctor to be NEI (Neuro-Endocrine-Immune System) Certified. Health Matters has been designated as an FLT Center of Excellence. Dr. Lemon is also the area’s only certified First line Therapy Physician. He is also a Certified Herbal Education Specialist as trained by the American Botanical Council. Dr. Lemon continues his studies in the field of Functional Medicine and Nutritional Proteomics and other leading edge science.
Dr. Lemon graduated with dual honors from Palmer College. While receiving his doctorate in chiropractic, he achieved academic as well as research honors. He graduated Cum Laude and is a member of the Pi Tau Delta Academic Honor Society. He holds membership in Chi Rho Theta, a national research society.
Throughout his clinical career, Dr. Lemon has sought to advance his education and expand upon his practice.
He has taught Natural Medicine and Botanical Science classes at a college level, and has authored many articles on healthcare and nutrition. Thousands of readers have enjoyed his weekly column in the Beaver and Allegheny Times, where he discussed natural methods to treat various health concerns. Dr. Lemon’s nutritional articles have been featured in national publications distributed and read by physicians and the general public. He has been in practice for over 21 years and has been a lifelong resident of Beaver County
