She has held clinical positions at Medstar Georgetown University Hospital for most of her career, where she managed patients in a variety of areas. Currently, she also serves as a clinician for Alfie, a tele-health clinic focused on men’s weight loss.
Chelsea is known to be compassionate and understanding in her work, where her repeat patients consider her to be someone who can work with them on a personal level to achieve long-term and seemingly intangible goals, such as losing significant weight. She also understands the unique psychology for men trying to lose weight, who often have different motivations and needs from women – she uses her knowledge to best serve her patients to give great results. Patients lose an average of 15% of their weight if fully eligible for treatment and medications.
She helps patients holistically understand their current weight gain through the patient's history of weight loss, a full metabolic review to know biological drivers of weight gain, and prescribes weight loss medicines like Wegovy, Ozempic, Rybelsus, and other GLP-1 medications if eligible. Through Alfie, the digital tele-health clinic that she serves as a medical director for, she can refer her patients to male health coaches and group sessions for accountability and nutrition.
