Cher Pastore, M.S., R.D., C.D.E, is a New York City-based registered dietitian who founded Cher Nutrition in 2005. She has a staff of registered dietitians and offers nutrition and wellness counseling to individuals and corporations. Cher is a specialist in weight loss management, diabetes treatment, and prenatal nutrition.
In addition to Cher’s aforementioned qualifications, she is also a Certified Diabetes Educator and has a certification in Adult Weight Management. To help her patients achieve improved health, weight loss, and overall well-being, Cher has implemented cutting edge technologies such as Continuous Glucose Monitoring and Metabolic Testing.
Cher graduated from New York University with a Master’s Degree in Nutrition and Food Studies and completed her Dietetic Residency at St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Manhattan. She is a member of the American Dietetic Association, Greater New York Dietetic Association, American Diabetes Association, Nutrition Entrepreneurs, Dieticians in Business and Communications, Weight Management Dietetic Practice Group and the Women’s Health Association.
Since 2001, Cher has provided nutrition consulting to doctors. She has also counseled patients in an intimate clinical setting on topics including Diabetes, Weight Management, Prenatal and Maternal Nutrition, Cardiovascular Disease, Hyperlipidemia, Digestive Disorders and Thyroid Disorders.
Cher’s involvement with her patients is not limited to scheduled office appointments. She also plans regular shopping tours at local food markets and collaborates with a personal trainer to give her patients a comprehensive approach to healthy living.

She is very nice but I was disappointed about the session. I didn't really learn anything new or felt it was useful. Everything she said, is what you read about online. Eat more veggies, eat less meat. I had expected some more specific and personalized information about what to eat for my needs and my body and medical history. I'm sure she is good if you just want to go to lose weight, but if you're looking for something more, I would not recommend her.
