Dr. Lin is originally from Taiwan and immigrated to the United States at age one. He grew up in New Jersey, where he began playing piano at age five. With guidance, Dr. Lin became a classically trained pianist and had amazing opportunities to perform at Carnegie Hall in New York City. Later in life, Dr. Lin would apply the same rigorous dedication to build his knowledge and skill set in neurosurgery. Dr. Lin attended the Larner College of Medicine at the University of Vermont for medical school. He then completed a neurological surgery residency at the University of Vermont Medical Center. Most recently, Dr. Lin graduated from the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a master’s in Business Administration. Dr. Lin’s clinical interests include open and minimally invasive spine surgery, brain and spine tumor surgery, Chiari malformations, hydrocephalus, and neuro-trauma. “I aim to provide the highest-quality, safest, and compassionate neurosurgical care to the community of Boulder County and its residents, through open communication, teamwork, and technical expertise.” When not working, Dr. Lin enjoys spending time with his family exploring Colorado. He also dedicates time to marathon training and accomplished his goal of qualifying for the Boston Marathon in 2022!
