Dr. Christopher Eugenio was born and raised in Houston, TX. He attended St. Thomas University in Houston where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Biology. He then attended the University of Houston College of Optometry.
Dr. Eugenio completed three valuble internships. He has had extensive training in specialty contact lens fitting along with LASIK and Cataract surgery co-management at the Balboa Naval Medical Center in San Diego, CA. He also completed an internship at free clinic, Bridgebuilders, in Dallas, TX with a focus on the treatment and management of ocular diseases associated with Diabetes, Hypertension, and Glaucoma.
In addition, Dr. Eugenio completed an internship with renown neuro ophthalmologist, Rosa Tang, M.D. at the University Eye Institute in Houston, TX where he managed patients with Multiple Sclerosis, Thyroid eye disease, traumatic brain injuries, and brain cancer.
Dr. Eugenio is currently licensed by the Texas Optometry Board as a Therapeutic Optometrist and Optometric Glaucoma Specialist.
He enjoys traveling, playing basketball, running, biking, and spending time with his wife, Jennifer, kids, Caelum and Bre, and pugs, CJ and Kali.

Dr. Eugenio has been my eye Dr. since 2009. Recently the VA sent me to another provider and the Rx was incorrect so I went to see Dr. E and he got my Rx correct. I will never get another free VA exam, I will stick with Dr. Eugenio!!!!

This was my second time to use Mr. Eugenio. He's very professional and nice and so is his receptionist. I got there and got in right away with hardly any wait at all. A lot of the time I get uneasy because of the awkward silence between myself and a doctor but he keeps me talking and has a calming demeanor. I'd highly recommend!
