Chrissy is a fantastic dietitian! As a mother of two toddlers I have struggled to find the time to prep healthy meals and my health and overall energy has declined as a consequence. Chrissy took the time to get to know me and tailored her nutrition and lifestyle plan to fit my schedule and goals. It's rare to find a dietitian that also has a background in psychology, this really helped to shift my mindset around my relationship with food and break my bad habits. Highly recommend!

Have you recently been diagnosed with a form of chronic kidney disease or kidney stones? A diagnosis can be scary! The good news is that proper nutrition can help you manage symptoms, improve lab values, and slow the need for dialysis.
My goal is to make healthy eating for kidney health as simple as possible for you and your family. I'm a mom, too, so I understand the complexities of feeding children and a family.
Nutrition for kidney health has come a long way over the last decade. Instead of a one-size-fits-all "renal diet," we now individualize the approach based on your lab values and other factors.
That's why you need a dietitian on your team-so you can eat as many foods as possible while still doing the right thing for your kidneys.
My approach to renal nutrition is plant-forward. This is a non-restrictive approach to plant-based nutrition that emphasizes vegetables and fruits, plant-based proteins, whole grains, nuts and seeds, herbs and spices, and plant oils without necessarily eliminating animal products.
I hold a Bachelor's degree from Wagner College, a Master's in Psychology from Teachers College, and a Master's in Medical Science from Hunter College. I completed my internship in Clinical Nutrition at Mount Sinai Medical Center.

They also appreciate that with my background in both psychology and culinary education, I can help you make long-term behavior changes, improve your cooking skills, and address barriers in your life that may be preventing you from meeting your goals.
